Apartamentos Rio Piedras

WE BOOKED FIVE NIGHTS HERE AND WHEN WE ARRIVED THEY HAD NO BOOKINGS FOR US. BUT THIS WAS THE FAULT OF THE BOOKING AGENT. WE REQUESTED A SEA VIEW BUT WAS OFFERED ONE BEDROOM FACING ROAD ON FIRST FLOOR. WE REQUESTED TO BE CHANGED BUT WAS TOLD THATS WHAT WE BOOKED AND COULNDT BE CHANGED. ? ANYWAY THE ROOM WAS VERY GOOD CLEAN AND LOTS OF ROOM NO SUN ON THE BALCONY THOUGH. THE STAFF WERE VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL SO NO COMPLAINTS. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS EXCELLENT AND THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD IN THE BAR. OVERALL I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. WITH GREAT LOCATION TO BEACH AND RESTURANTS WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT.

Booked Rio Piedras Apartments after much research online I decided to book here and wasn't disappointed, they are on the flat so suitable for people with mobility issues. We had an apartment on the 8th floor with a sea view and wasn't disappointed, there was plenty of space for us, there wasn't any air con but we had a fan which we moved about the apartment which was useful. There are plenty of kitchen utensils to have a self catering holiday for the odd meals if required. The guys on reception were very polite and helpful and I will definitely book these apartments again.

We return to these apartments as often as we can as they are amazing. You can't get a better view from anywhere in Puerto Rico. The reception staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. The apartments are spacious with amazingly large balconies which have glass walls making the most of the view over the beach. Water can be bought in reception which is very helpful as you don't have to lug heavy bottles from the supermarket. The apartments are cleaned 5 times a week and sheets and towels are changed as often as you require. Fabulous location very close to beach restaurants and supermarkets. Can't praise this complex enough.

Hi we chose this hotel over marina bay as it was closer to the shopping centre Beach about five minutes and spa shop. The cleaning staff came nearly every day. The balcony with beds is very spacious. The restaurant by pool has lovely food. Two of the best fish dishes I had in the ten day stay. We were in the top rooms Next to the pool , for us this was a good thing popping in and out of the pool. It’s fairly noisy if you want total quiet , it didn’t bother us. Two lifts up to the pool. Nice view we liked very much and now know every hotel opposite. Now I must talk of air con. We had none. We always by pass any hotels without air con ( a heat wave some years ago without ) We asked at reception about it and was told you havnt booked air con ? Well we firmly believed that we had ! After a first night unbearable sleepless night we asked to move No rooms available as they get booked up. Any way after talking to several couple who had the same grudge we realised it wasn’t just us being finicky. The advertising for rooms really does need to be changed and made clear. Booked through tui We realise the weather was abnormally hot. But that’s not the point we would not have booked without. The hotel is ideally situated for every thing. It just the air con ruined the ten days as no respite at all.

Fantastic view of the harbor and beach from the upper floors. Large balcony with sun beds and sitting group. Sun from early morning until late in the night. Close to everything Puerto Rico has to offer, a few minutes walk to the beach and harbor. Five minutes to the bus station. Less than 10 minutes to the commercial center and the new shoppingg center. The pool area was great. Never a problem getting sun beds. Only got busy in the weekend. But a lot of free sun beds. The restaurant was great. Ate there twice. Among the best meals we had this holiday. The bads: The room is a bit dated. The kitchen was well equipped, but a lot of the utensils was a bit dirty. But not a problem, we didn't eat in.

Excellent apartment only 79 meters from beach really well located 500 meters to bus station, central location with all emeries close by, roof pool wit great adjoining restaurant/ bar music most nights.

We picked these apartments because of the location , very near to the beach harbour and marina. Each apartment has a lovely large terrace with views over the sea and marina. The staff were really helpful in organising a car to pick us up and checking us in swiftly. The apartments are somewhat dated and more suitable for adults, rather than young children due to low cables etc. The fridge is a good size and the shower had been updated fairly recently although it flooded the bathroom if you needed more than a quick rinse off! There is a restaurant on the roof which is very good with its own BBQ as well as a normal kitchen. The menu has something for everyone and the staff are excellent. We ate here most nights during our two week holiday. Unfortunately what we didn’t realise before booking was that there is no air conditioning. This actually spoiled the holiday. It was impossible to sleep at night or to feel cool unless you left the premises. I know that some guests were sleeping on their balconies as the weather was unusually hot. That said, the apartments would still be too hot during most of the year. It’s a shame because they could be lovely with a bit more investment. We won’t return!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Prime location to beach, bars and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the commercial centre. The rooms were spacious with huge terraces with excellent views or the beach and marina. The rooms are very dated however cleaner's are in every day and I have to say they are kept spotless! Our room didn't offer aircon but we were provided with a free fan that did the trick and opening windows and doors alliwed the cool to circulate. The roof pool and bar/restaurant offer Happy hour 4-5pm and the staff are amazing. I would 100% recommend this hotel after trying 3 others in Puerto Rico.

Just returned from a 10 night family holiday here. Although the location is ideal opposite the marina hotel itself is very dated and rooms need a revamp. They are spacious and most balconies are large with sun loungers although we were only allocated 2 despite being a family of 3. The for air con was pitiful, a very old unit just in one room which was not made clear when paying extra for it. Although we knew the third bed was a sofa bed, it really was not sufficient for a 17 year old. Kitchen and bathroom both very dated. Pool area was nice. It’s based on the roof terrace, has its busy moments but overall not overcrowded. On days when we struggled to get a lounger we were quickly assisted by the pool guard to find something (worth noting that the hotel does not provide pool towels). General location is good, plenty of bars and places to eat. The main evening area known as ‘the shopping centre’ is within walking distance has your usual offerings of food and drink with very reasonable prices and huge portions. The resort is family friendly with no trouble. Overall we got a shock at the hotel compared to the travel agent photos, did It spoil our holiday? No, not at all. Would we stay here again? Unfortunately no, not at all.
