Hôtels près de Moonlight Track Trailhead (Arthurs Point), Queenstown

Il y a un parking gratuit et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Il y a une navette gratuite pour le centre-ville de Queenstown. La dame à l'accueil est très gentille. Le bus part toutes les heures de 9h à 20h. Les points de prise en charge et de dépose sont les mêmes. La figure 1 est l'endroit où la navette descend. A proximité se trouve l'Internet Red Burger.

Le personnel de la maison est très bien placé et très confortable. Notre équipe de garde-fous n'a pas pu servir notre chambre pendant que nous étions là, nous avons offert des serviettes et du thé extra, le café sans hésiter à la demande. La décoration est très date et alors qu'elle était en première ligne désactivée (crème/vert intérieur et meubles, couches en têtes colorées dans le corridor, voir la taille de notre chambre et la propreté qu'elle a été faite pour elle. Le lit était un roi/possible super roi, très confortable et extra poulets fournis. Le petit déjeuner continental est plus que suffisant. De nouveau le personnel d'attente que j'ai approché où je suis heureux de monter, ajoutez plus (les pâturages). Merci pour un séjour merveilleux!

My rating of 'very good' takes into consideration the amount we paid to stay here. This was the cheapest of our 12 accommodations in NZ at under £100 equivalent. We actually felt an element of sadness as the hotel has clearly had a much grander past and is suffering now, either through lack of investment or changes in customer demand. We noticed that visitors to Queenstown are in the majority younger people looking for the thrill experiences, so perhaps a hotel on the outskirts of the town originally designed for the more discerning traveller is no longer what people are looking for. The Dining room for example is grandly furnished and has amazing views across the river - you can imagine a fine dining experience here being very popular , but now the restaurant is closed for evening meals and just opens for breakfast. Such a shame. We were advised by email that evening meals were no longer available so we were prepared for that and as there are other places close by it was not a problem for us. Our room was very spacious and had an equally spacious balcony. It was bigger than many other rooms we had in other accommodations. True, it was dated and tired but the bed was comfortable, clean and we slept well. Fresh milk was easily available at reception in a small glass bottle for in room beverages - I prefer that arrangement - the little plastic packets of milk are not environmentally friendly and fresh milk always tastes nicer. The walk/ hall way to the rooms from reception to the 1st floor was in a very poor state - this gives a very poor impression and badly needs redecorating. Breakfast was ok - not amazing, but for the money paid we felt it served its purpose well. The staff we saw were all very friendly and accommodating. There is no lift in the building and the gentleman on reception offered to take our cases up to our room as he could see they were quite heavy. It will be interesting to see what happens with this hotel over the coming years, we do wish the current team well as clearly things are not easy for them at the moment.

I stayed at the La Quinta Wyndham for 2 weeks in March of 2023. I didn't rent a car. The friendly staff went out of their way to teach me how to be able to travel around Queenstown New Zealand via the public transportation system. House keeping was excellent. They even put my dirty dishes in the dishwasher at times for me.

We wanted to stay close to the airport, a short drive to town, with easy access to the highway towards Te Anau/Milford Sound. This hotel ticked all the boxes. At first arrival, we entered the parking lot and noticed how tight and small the parking spots were. After an elevator ride up to the lobby, we met with staff who were very professional and kind. We went to our room which was nice and updated, had a great view, and a spacious floor plan. We did have an issue with the sink, where it was clogged when we got to the room. While we went to visit Queenstown, a staff member unclogged the sink but didn’t clean it so when we arrived back, the residue from the clogging was still in the sink. A disappointment, and ironically a perk, was the small balcony. Most of the small balcony was used up by an air conditioner. The positive is you had a nice view of the mountains and Queenstown. The bed was large and comfortable. The couch, living area, and kitchen were really nice. We really enjoyed the shower and took advantage of the hot water while we had it. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The DoubleTree cookies are always a plus too.

Magnifique hôtel .Grandes chambres avec une une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac Wakatipu et les montagnes.Literie confortable,grande salle de bain avec baignoire(Un hôtel comme celui-ci mériterait une cabine de douche avec une pomme de douche amovible et non fixée au mur),coin salon avec canapé,table de salon et fauteuils.Notre chambre s'ouvrait sur une immense terrasse partagée avec les autres chambres de ce niveau mais il n'y avait que nous sur cette terrasse (comme il y a 3 ans quand nous étions déjà venus dans cet hôtel et où nous avions très hâte de revenir).Le petit déjeuner est le plus complet qu'on puisse imaginer,viennoiseries,gateaux,pains de toutes sortes,céréales,grand choix de fruits,jus de fruit frais très variés,produits laitiers de toutes sortes,charcuterie,oeufs,très bon café et thé au choix encore multiple et surtout encore cette vue sur le lac et sur la ville de Queenstown.Très bon restaurant où nous avons mangé le soir.personnel très accueillant nous reviendrons certainement!

I stayed here two nights on a Riviera Tour of New Zealand. The hotel consists of different linked buildings. However it is very easy to get lost despite them giving you a map. Our rooms overlooked the gardens unfortunately and not the lake. The rooms were ok. A bit tired and in need of refurbishment. However the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows. The location of the Hotel is at the top of a very steep hill that leads into Queenstown. The walk up is taxing for older people so be aware. The hotel has the usual facilities of bar, restaurant gym and pool. I can't comment on the gym or pool as we did not have time to use it. The outlook from the hotel is over the lake towards the Remarkable Mountains one of the locations used in Lord of the Rings. It is an absolutely stunning place. Queenstown has lots to do. We took advantage of this. The breakfast was good with hot and cold buffet. Plenty of fresh fruit and pastries as well. A group of us ate in the bar on evening after a tour. Everyone enjoyed their food. Drinks were not to expensive either. The place is a pain to find your way round, so allow time for getting lost when meeting people.

My Family stayed here from 28th December 2022 until 4th January 2023. In a Family Room. The Rooms were well kept and quite modern. We were made to feel very welcome and all the Staff were very obliging and helpful. The Lodge was better than some Motels we have stayed in. Thankyou for our stay Melbourne Lodge. We will be back.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour, apprécié le petit déjeuner simple quotidien avec la vue fantastique sur les montagnes enneigées depuis le restaurant. Nous avons pu faire une cuisine simple pour ma famille. La salle à manger et la zone de loisirs étaient confortables et nous y avons passé beaucoup de temps après nos visites quotidiennes. Le personnel de nettoyage et de soutien (nous comprenons qu'ils viennent d'un autre pays pour travailler en Nouvelle-Zélande) ont rendu notre séjour au lodge plus confortable. Lorsque nous les avons informés que notre réchauffeur était tombé en panne dans notre chambre, un personnel féminin et masculin est venu inspecter notre réchauffeur dans notre chambre. Par la suite, le personnel masculin nous a apporté des couvertures supplémentaires et des réchauffeurs portables pour nous garder au chaud et nos 4 enfants - BRAVO ! C'est un hébergement d'un bon rapport qualité-prix pour ma famille - compte tenu du prix que nous avions payé par rapport aux prix des autres hébergements à Queenstown, en Nouvelle-Zélande.

Je crois que j'ai passé cinq jours ici pendant les vacances de Noël quand le lieu était très calme, ce qui me convient ... mais n'est probablement pas idéal pour une évaluation standard. Il est tout à fait situé, au centre, sans bruit et à quelques minutes pour les achats de nourriture. Les dorms sont un peu ”cool”, et la cuisine n'est pas la meilleure stockée au monde.
