Nice Hotel to stay during winter season

While the hotel boasts a range of facilities and enjoys a favourable location, there are areas that require attention. The cleanliness standards are average, and some of the bathroom fittings are damaged, contributing to a water drainage issue. Notably, water tends to flow onto the bathroom floor when flushing the bathtub. And we had to wait almost 2 hrs to get the cleaning services to arrive.

Spa is amazing Rooms are good and view is amazing Service is terrible with the majority but some people are really nice. Food is really really expensive with limited options but i went off season so during peak season theres mich more variety. Breakfast buffet was good though

One of the 3 hotels on the main ski-in/ski-out plaza of the Shahdag resort; rated as a 4-star hotel - which is obviously met; good price/quality ratio for the moment.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is big but does not look or feel modern. The rooms and bathroom were big and each room had a balcony. This is the only hotel which is operational is Shahdag during off seasons. So basically staying here you have to eat drink and do all the activity on site. The best part of the hotel is the indoor swimming pool, Hammam bath and sauna which any one can use while staying. The breakfast spread is very large and the team is very efficient with all your needs. Food drinks and other activities are little expensive so this is not a place for budget travelers. We stayed here for 2 night but got really bored on the 2nd day as we had nothing to do after getting done with all the activities. I would recommend this place only during season time which is dec - march or else it a very dead place. Front desk staffs were nonresponsive for anything you asked them. The restaurant staffs were happy to serve all the time.

Simply brilliant resort. The rooms are very spacious, all the 5 rooms we had were with a large balcony. The hotel had a couple of restaurants serving decent meals. We used the spa services for massages and jacuzzi - and it was not wow - but good enough. The hotel also has its own ski school, they also rent and sell ski equipment at a store. There is the amazing mountain coaster which is thrilling when going down the cliff. Overall very happy with our accommodation and facilities. Recommended…!

We had a great stay at Shahdag Hotel and Spa. The resort is located directly at the bottom of the slopes so provides great access. For me it was the staff that made the resort. Kamilla went above and beyond and made sure our stay was great. Ilqar who organizes events at the hotel was exceptional, always greeting you with a huge smile and the events he organized whilst we were there were great. Ilqar is really an asset to the resort

Great experience and would love to visit again in future. The skiing facility are the property is amazing. Best place to stay if you are looking for a ski resort with family. There is an ice rink outside the property. All the skiing Equipements are available for affordable price at the facility.

Although the building isn’t the best looking the hotel has all you need. It’s direct access to ski school, rental shop and the slopes which the other hotels don’t offer. Rooms are spacious and good. AC didn’t work 100% but it was ok w the balcony door open. The staff were great and especially Kamilla In concierge she gave incredible service. No one else in Shahdag beats her level of service! She made our stay fantastic and easy! Nothing was a problem! Book ski school in advance. It’s a nightmare though but the instructors are good. No one has perfect English so be patient and download a translation app!! Rental equipment was available as we arrived on a Friday but I heard some who didn’t get any ski boots or skis. Highly recommend Shahdag hotel and especially thanks to Kamilla!

It was our first visit to this hotel It is located around 1 hour from Quba at the top of mountain with an amazing peaceful place sorrounded by natural sounds, green and rain Hotel reception is 5 stars Hotel staff were very friendly Rooms were clean and fully equipped with all what you need The balcony view was super They have free spa services also They offer massage They have reataurent at 4th floor and they also have special place for breakfast They also have nearby entertainment center havibg bowling, billiard, electrical games and coffee shops They have cenima and VR as well Nearby they have shahdag entertainment ecnter where you can enjoy many games such as thr amazing roller coaster, telephric, hoyrse ride, shooting, hiking and zip line and more I really recommend it for relaxing stay at least 2 nights The value is somehow acceptable but wish it was less

A lovely place to stay whether at spring, summer or winter. The staff are lovely and very professional. The ski slopes are the attraction in winter. You can rent ski gear however if you are on the plus size, I recommend purchasing your own ski suit and bringing it. Also, if you are petite, you might want to invest in your own ski boots so that you have a more comfortable pair. Mind you, ski gear is not cheap so only take on my advice if you plan on becoming a regular skier. Other than skiing, the hotel has a large range of spa offers. The downside for me was the lack of privacy when using the Haman bath facilities that are included for guests and you do the baths all by yourself which is difficult if you want to enjoy the full Haman experience. There is a paid option though if you want a staff to perform the bath. Also, come along with your own slippers as the ones offered by the hotel are not the best. The massage offers are good and I indulged in a few spa offers. In terms of options to eat, breakfast is typically included and the options are great. For dinner, make sure to book ahead otherwise you will be left with the option of room service. Most of the restaurants have entertainment lined up at night time too. There are off road tours available however they are more popular during summer. We loved the tour to Lazi village and got a snow mountain experience. Overall, it is not a cheap holiday so come prepared.
