Premier Inn Uttoxeter

Really pleasantly surprised by my stay at Premier Inn Uttoxeter. The room was a great size and the bed extremely comfortable! Air con always appreciated! There were plenty of car parking spaces available too which is always a positive. The restaurant seems to be closed at the moment but that didn't have an impact on my stay. I must give a big shout out to Louise and Amy on reception who were so lovely. Having a really warm welcome - especially after a long day of travelling - is much appreicated. They seemed to be very knowledgeable about the local area (I asked about decent restaurants nearby and somewhere to get a new charger!) and they just made me feel extremely welcome. That makes a huge difference! 5 stars!

I checked in to the hotel today (18/06) and just had to leave a review about the super friendly and hilarious greeting I received from the two receptionist Lou & Amy. They definitely brightened up my day. They were also very knowledgeable at helping me find local alternative dining arrangements due to their restaurant going through a refurb. Overall top service. As a bonus the Room was nice and cool with air con!

I am writing to share my wonderful experience at your hotel. The facilities were outstanding, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. However, what truly made my stay exceptional was the exceptional service provided by Becky. Every time we needed assistance, Becky was there, always ready to help with a smile. Her dedication and attentiveness made a significant difference during our visit. I highly recommend your hotel to others, and I look forward to returning in the future.

Comfy bed, soft bouncy pillows, fabulous shower that you don't want to get out of, friendly helpful staff that go out of their way for you. Just disappointed we didn't get to eat there as we would normally do, because they were having a refurbishment

The room was not clean, smelled very badly of stale cigarette smoke, milkshake bottle on the floor from last visitor, scum around the bath, food stain on the bedding, bedding smelt like stale cigarette smoke, scum around the bath. Sticky handprints on the head board. Air con did not work. Complained after noticing stale cigarette smoke and unclean bedding, told by reception, "i don't know what we can do, we're fully booked" and "the manager will take a while to get here" given a clean set of bedding to strip the dirty bedding and put fresh bedding on myself and was told breakfast would be refunded. This is not OK. This room was unclean and there was no alternative available. Just over £20 was refunded for breakfast, which does not make up for having no choice but to stay in an unclean, and horrible smelling room having to change the dirty sheets myself. Very poor cleanliness and service.

Stayed here for two nights to visit Alton Towers with my family. The staff were so friendly and went the extra mile in the restaurant to look after us. Would like to give a particular mention to staff member Becky who was so welcoming and great with the kids. Will definitely return and hope to see Becky again!
