Comment écrire un avis sur le séjour le plus beau que nous avons passé avec mon compagnon ... Aller à Rathmullan House c'est une expérience vivifiante, purifiante, terriblement romantique et où les instants sont figés dans le temps.. Peut-être que beaucoup de choses ont joués dans notre expérience là-bas (le temps merveilleux, nos premiers jours en Irlande) mais sincèrement je ne peux que vous recommander ce lieu exceptionnel. Les chambre sont spacieuses, fonctionnels et pleine de charme (j'ai adoré les produits de bain à disposition). La nourriture est excellente (du petit-déjeuner au dîner au restaurant où la pizzeria "Pavillon"), tout était très bon et avec beaucoup de choix. La partie bar est aussi très fourni et très sympa. Le gros point fort de l'hôtel est son extérieur, pleine vue face à l'océan (et ses mouvements de marées), pour rejoindre le village ? petit chemin en forêt pour rejoindre le village ou sur la plage (10 minutes à peine). Jardins aux plantes et potager bien entretenu . La bâtisse en elle même vaut le détour, plusieurs petits salons, un espace piscine intérieur, plusieurs espaces distincts à l'extérieur, séjour très romantique où vous serez à l'abris des regards et en même temps entourés de personnes merveilleuses et bienveillantes. Nous y reviendrons avec certitude !

From the moment we entered the hotel we were met by friendly and courteous staff . The room was beautiful and very spacious . Everything was in the room that you would need for a visit . The beach on the loch is sandy and is lovely for a stroll . We had the evening meal and breakfast deal and were not disappointed, the food was amazing and the waiting staff were very attentive and efficient. A great stay , we are already planning another visit .

We attended a wedding in the hotel at the start of March. The hotel, its setting and surroundings enhanced the whole experience. The staff were attentive and very well organised. All the food was delicious, served on time and served hot. The pizzas and stew were delicious, and the wedding dinner was exceptional. I’d stay in the Rathmullan again just based on the experience we had at the wedding.

This country house hotel offers so much more than just accommodation; it's a truly immersive experience. The property is tastefully maintained and exudes charm. The intimate lounges provide the perfect setting for relaxation and conversation. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. We highly recommend a visit, immerse yourself in the atmosphere,and the swimming pool if you like !

I spent 3 nights in Rathmullan and found the staff to be terrific, caring & helpful. On my first morning I woke with a migraine and had to spend the entire day in bed. When the staff in the dining room saw I hadn't been to breakfast they rang my room to check if I was Ok. On hearing that I was unwell they asked if there was anything they could get me, including offering to send painkellers up to the room if need. I didn't need anything. That evening before dinner the staff rang again to enquire how I was & would I be at dinner. On hearing that I would not be at dinner they again asked if they could get me anything. I said that tea & toast would be welcome but I recognised that they do not provide a room service; not a problem. 10 minutes later tea & toast was deliverd to my room along with fresh milk and water. Next mornig at breakfast all staff enquired after how I was feeling. At dinner I found the lighting to be too subdued to allow me to read my book. When the staff noticed this a bright, battery powered light was produced and placed on my table. Magic. The food is wonderful, the setting beautiful and the house is full of character. This was not my first visit and it will not be my last. Highly recommended.

Returned to Rathmullan after a hiatus of many years, it was unchanged, fabulous food, beautiful lounges to relax by the fire, friendly staff and perfect position with views of Lough Swilly and a beautiful beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We can't wait to return

What an amazing stay. The hotel was full of wee touches of luxury. Our room was spotless and period features added to the atmosphere. Proper coffee was a great added touch instead of the usual instant I've found in other establishments. The bed was so comfortable! Suzanne at reception went above and beyond for us on our arrival and started our stay off on a perfect footing. The food and menu were exquisite and full of local produce. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. Our only suggestion for improvement would be a few lights between the hotel and the carpark as it was very dark.

charming country house hotel right on the beach, excellent food and drink, top quality produce for dinner and breakfast, right next to Kinnegar Beach where the craft beer is named after, worth trying the Limeburner,friendly and relaxed staff and atmosphere, overall would highly recommend

Just spent a lovely weekend at Rathmullan house . Had really delicious dinner there both evenings with menu changing daily. Breakfast lovely with wide choice to suit everyone. The staff in Rathmullan are fantastic and a real asset to the hotel. All the sitting rooms are so comfy and the fires were lit this weekend. Bedrooms spotless and really comfortable beds. The pool was great for both adults and children. We will definitely be back.
