Amaryllis Hotel

Je n'étais dans cet hôtel que 3 jours et je peux vous dire que j'allais bien. La chambre était propre et le service de ménage était super aussi. Le seul défaut est que dans les chambres avec douche, après avoir pris une douche, malheureu*****t l'eau passait partout car il n'y avait pas de douche mais seulement un rideau. Pour le reste tout est excellent.

Very nice hotel in the center. Good rooms and wonderful varied breakfast.

A good and cozy smaller budget hotel. The room was cleaned daily. Friendly staff. They helped allways if I needed. I bought breakfast every morning for €6. It was very versatile. Good bed/mattresses. Close to the beach. Poor soundproofing.

Amaryllis, a dive , thifes,charged me €80.50 for one night, food disgusting, staff are thifes over charging for food and drinks , when paying for a room apparently my debit card is not working, but working OK when paying for food,had to pay cash for the room payed to the 3/8/23 then told to leave on the 30/8/23, throw me out on the streets stole my money, I'm truly stunned truly don't know what to say, horrible people, miserable, money grabbing soulless nasty people, if you are not a permanent resident who bookes a holiday at least 3 times a year for the last 40 years, you will most definitely pay a price for your stay , I've never experience a holiday stay like this in my life , I honestly can't say no more as the thought of this experience makes me sick to my stomach, I'm trying my hardest not to use the word Hotel, this place is a hell hole and all the staff are miserable thifing nasty people, I truly hope they all get there karma for the amount of money in cash they had stolen off me , PLEASE AVOID THEM LOWEST OF THE LOW , I'm going to stop this review now , please do not book a holiday stay here please,Don't be fooled by the big smile on this thife,

First and foremost, the receptionist's terrible reception skills are evident through her consistently indifferent and unhelpful attitude towards me and my familys . Her lack of willingness to assist with inquiries, provide necessary information not only reflects poorly on herself but also reflects negatively on the organization she represents.Also someone that I didn’t knew came into my room at night with the card key that the receptionist gave it to him mistakes like this should not be happening .

Great location, in walking distance from the most important things to see in Rhodes and from the beautiful beaches ⛱ Although the rooms are small, they are cleaned up every day, you get fresh towels and fresh linen.

I visited here early April so out of season. Very good location with shops and restaurants on the doorstep and the old town arpund a 15 to 20 minute walk. Taxi from the airport will cost you €26 which is reasonable. Cheap and cheerful and a bargain for what I paid. No problem checking in or out, bed made every day, beds/room were spotless and friendly service. If I was ever to visit Rhodes again I would 100% stay here. If you want a luxury hotel, pay more and stay elsewhere. This is a budget hotel and they don't claim to be anything more... they don't need to either.

Great find, didn’t stay we just had breakfast. We were forced in by the rain on our way to the beach, doesn’t look like much from the outside really but it’s great breakfast! British style bacon, fresh orange juice, HP sauce, generous with the butter and top up your tea and coffee for free without asking. The staff are friendly and although we haven’t been into the bar it does look very well stocked and clean.

By chance i found this Hotel after leaving the hospital, i honestly said to the taxi driver any hotel in Rodos, i then ended up at the beautiful Amaryllis. I had missed my flight due to an accident and needed somewhere to stay to arrange another flight back to the UK. After yet another medical problem was told i couldn`t fly for at least a month, in fact i stayed there for 2 months. I can honestly and truthfully say the staff made it one of the most memorable 2 months of my life. Without the FANSTASTIC staff and especially the owner, i don`t know what i would have done, it was out of season with a few Danish guests and a simply mad Finnish man and a lovely Irish girl all looked after me and this has made such an impression on me i`ll never forget. Who needs 7 star luxury hotels(which i`ve stayed in around the World) when you can stay at the Amaryllis with such lovely staff. Perfect room, perfect bar area perfect everything. People might not believe this review, but i can assure it`s the 100% truth. I recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Rodos. I will be returning later this year, hopefully no medical problems this time. And i can`t wait to see the staff who are the best hotel staff i`ve ever encountered anywhere in the World, and i have truthfully extensively travelled. Many personal thanks Richard UK Wales
