This hotel is a joke. We were placed there by the council as we were homeless, all the people in this hotel are homeless. Our room was so tiny it was unreal and the bathroom was not big enough to turn round in. The room smelt of ****, and with the terrible smell from the bathroom sink it was uncomfortable to sleep in. Pet friendly it says lol thats funny NO PETS ARE ALLOWED unless you are a member of staff. The list of rules for this hotel the funniest being you must wear a t-shirt indoors if you are a male even on the hottest day of the year are funny. The full list is never on show it is made up by staff to keep residents in line with whatever they seem fit. The hotel corridors smell of **** 24\7. The cooking facilities are 3 microwaves and 3 toasters which are in a room on ground floor, i only used this room about 6 times in 4 months as it was never clean i had to clean microwave everytime before use. On the hottest day of the year my room which was on the 3rd floor was flooded. It was 9.30 at night and i was given 4 bath sheets to put on carpet to dry it out. No help was given to dry the clothes etc that the water which was falling from the ceiling, due to a child upstairs on the 4th floor being unsupervised in the shower, and leaving shower curtain hanging over shower base and allowing water to run through floor into our room. It took 3 days to dry my clothes and nearly 4 to dry carpet. Asked to change rooms because of the smell was told no rooms available and was offered an air freshner by member of staff, i laughed. Overall this hotel is a definite avoid at all costs. The happiest day of my life so far was saying goodbye after 4 months of hell and stress.
