Good location,standard services,room clean,interior of hotel is dark(( just eat,sleep and don’t “head up”!

Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly service. Breakfast is good, smaller than some hotels but well presented.

The hotel is conveniently located 20 min walk from the old city, just in the center of Riga with a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The gym in the hotel has stunning view to the city , well equipped and you can access it with your room card at your convenience. Nice European breakfast. The stuff is very well trained, attentive and accomodating,

everything was good. Location, service.

A/C Hotel Riga Marriott Chain Dzirnavu Street 33, Riga 1010 Latvia Rm 716 to 908 I was booked into this Hotel buy the Canadian Federal Government CAF. My Stay was from the 18th of Feb to the 13th. Of March. This is a great place to stay if it’s only for a few nights. Unfortunately my stay was quite a bit longer. Several things I noticed as per line item. 1. Checking in was easy. 2. Asked for beverage fridge to be emptied never happened asked three times. 3. The location I worked at was a sand base work site so I have allot of sand on my work boots & floor in the room. ( I made a sand snowman with tooth paste by the door it never moved for two weeks) 4. I took my boots off in the hallway but I still managed to track sand into my room & bottoms part of the bed. 5. I asked for the room to be cleaned a few times nothing happened so I brought a broom in from my work site did the cleaning myself. 6. I also had an incident while putting on my work boots the toilet cover cracked & shattered. First time ever for me. I repotted this to the main desk. I also showed them a picture. 7. They informed me I may have to pay for the toilet seat I had no issues with that. 8. The toilet it self was an ongoing plugging up & near flooding event after several days I had plunged it snaked it at my own expense for a snake. 9. While using the snake I found that this toilet had major problems. 10. I was transferred to the 9th floor. The room was fine till the 13th. The Lounge 1. The staff at the lounge could be better, They never had the same people serving so you never know what type bartender you’d get from night to night. 2. Some days it was great others I just left the lounge & went across to the beer museum which was excellent service. 3. Some of the servers would not even serve you. Or they would be snooty with you. ( Stay in your lanes ) 4. You had to actually wave & get their attention. & then they expected a tip ? 5. Some of the younger ladies would actually ignore you. 6. We showed some of the stay to notch the coaster then you would know how many beverages you had like in Germany in the days. I would only recommend this hotel for a day or two not for a long stay. The parking is horrible & they couldn’t even get that right after a week of coming & going. They kept blaming the security company. Or they wrote it down, but never actioned.
