My stay at The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands was truly enchanting! From the charming Tudor-style architecture to the warm hospitality, every moment felt special. The room was beautifully designed, cozy, and offered stunning views of the lush surroundings. The afternoon tea on the terrace was a highlight, with delicious scones and premium teas, while breakfast was equally delightful. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, adding to the peaceful and elegant atmosphere. A perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation in a breathtaking setting—I can’t wait to return! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stayed in a Junior Suite. Room was spacious with a colonial rustic tudor house design. Overall, staying in this hotel brings the charm of living in the colonial days. You will experience great peace and tranquility. Beautiful landscape. Breakfast was marvelous. Food and drinks at the hotel are extremely expensive. A bottle of water cost RM26.50+. This hotel is great for relaxation and experiencing the charm of Cameron Highlands. There are no facilities such as swimming pool, gym, etc.

We recently embarked on a family trip to the enchanting Cameron Highlands, where we had the pleasure of staying at a one-of-a-kind hotel for two nights. This hotel stands out in the region not only for its unique architecture but also for its rich history, which adds a certain charm to the overall experience. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff, who were exceptionally kind and attentive. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. One delightful touch was that they offered to wash our car every day, which was such a refreshing way to start our mornings. Our room was quite spacious and generally clean, providing us with plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring. However, I did notice that the in-room entertainment options were quite limited. While there was a television, the selection of channels was minimal, which left us with little else to do in the evenings. In terms of hotel facilities, there were not many options available to keep guests occupied. We found ourselves wishing for additional amenities that would enhance the experience. One notable inconvenience was the drainage in the bathroom; it was not functioning well, and we often had to deal with water pooling on the floor during showers, which was a bit frustrating. Despite these drawbacks, our overall experience at the hotel was positive. The combination of the unique setting, friendly staff, and the charm of the area made for a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel for a short visit, as it offers a nice retreat, particularly for those looking to unwind in a tranquil environment.

The hotel is a bit far from the center of the town, but it's not a problem if you drive a car. The building’s appearance and interior decoration are very distinctive, and the overall atmosphere is very good, clean and warm. The staff are also very friendly and help clean the car every morning, thank you very much. The air in Cameron Highlands is fresh and the nights are cool. I hope I can come back soon.

It’s a great place. Obviously, the hotel isn’t new. But it adds a lot of charm to this place. They have big rooms in the common area for relaxing and afternoon tea. They also washed our car every morning. Our only complaint is about the food. Food may be better.

It was something that was unforgettable... the morning after breakfast went back to the room and the bathroom water pipe hose burst and wet the whole bathroom and certain parts of the sleeping room.... it was lucky that we didn't put our luggage on the floor, which was just beside the bathroom door.... otherwise we can't Imagined the luggage also get wet....photo show was when we just check in.... the water pipe bursted wet the whole bathroom including the curtain...

We held our pre-wedding photoshoot at this hotel. We stayed there for 4 days & 3 nights. Service rendered from the staff was fantastic. Food was good. The location was great. The staff were always on the lookout to be of assistance to the guests. Small gestures such as arranging heart shaped balloons in the room before we checked in, leaving cookies in the room after housekeeping was done, arranging sandwiches for us because we had to leave early in the morning for the photoshoot and the washing of cars every morning were very unexpected. But it showed the high standard of customer service being upheld at this hotel. There were no compromises on customer satisfaction as well. I would definitely come back to this hotel anytime.

Location wise, the hotel is situated at the mouth of Ringlet. It is a good 30min drive to shops and eateries so unless you are prepared to brave 30min (or more on a busy day) on windy roads upwards (and another 30min back to hotel therafter), you may have to think twice. It was becos of this factor, our family of 5 decided to just spend the entire day in the hotel. Food at the restaurant in the hotel was pretty decent. A Malaysian chicken curry rice will set you back RM60, so just to let you in on the prices. The hotel is well kept and the rooms are generally clean. I booked the family room and am impressed by its size, cleanliness. Sheets are clean and room is well-made. Like the simple touches added by the hotel, eg, towels are lightly rose scented, essential oil candle lamps in the rooms. Mattress was really comfortable and the husband enjoyed a good night's rest. Our room came with breakfast the next morning. Breakfast is semi-buffet- pick a main from menu, whilst cheeses, muffins and variety of staples are free flow. A glass of freshly squeezed orange juice is complimentary - that was the best perk me up for me. We were also pleasantly surprised that the hotel washed the guests' cars. Our car was refreshed and ready for the roads again after a night at the Lakehouse. Though the hotel wasn't my first choice initially but I might just wanna return again. Thank you Lakehouse for making a day's stay a memorable and comfortable one.

Astonishing view and definitely would love to come back. The room is vintage style and warm too.

The service is good, the antique and heritage building, garden and ambience are the key attractions of this hotel Breakfast is very good and presentation is nice, especially come with the natural honey Queen size bed is slightly small for two persons guess due to the limitations of room size The bed and pillows are good and comfortable The only one defects is the water heater not working well and can’t enjoy the bathtubs as it take too long to fill up with hot water, and got to wait longer to use hot shower Highly recommended to support this small luxury boutique hotel and preserve the heritage and nature of Cameron Highlands

Good experience

To be honest, the place was below expectations and we checked out on the day itself , after few hours check in due to much reasons. We did not find the hotel pleasant nor kids friendly. We travelled with 2 small kids, and myself being 8 months pregnant. To our dismay there was no lifts provided by the hotel and the location of the hotel is rather far and isolated that we felt it was not worth the money. We booked the family suite for 4 pax that cost us RM1200 per night, but upon arrival there were no assistance to take our luggage. In which we had to carry ourselves up to the room. Really pricey and customer service is really bad. Not recommended if your travelling with kids.
