Beautiful. 4 Bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Home

Location was great -perfect for our family get together. Communicating with the landlord was a nightmare. I tried for six weeks to modify our dates and Never got a response. Even going through the Vrbo site, got no response. I had to call Eric directly twice to get the entry code, and am still waiting to hear about the adjustment to my invoice for the 4 days we were not there because he never responded to my requests to adjust dates. The property has potential but we were disappointed on arrival with the condition of the house. The beds were clean, made and ready but none of the bathrooms had towels- clean towels were in the dryer- or extra TP for when the partial rolls were used. The living room furniture had not been vacuumed in quite a while and the floors left everyone’s socks black on the bottom. The backyard patio and grill were great, but would have been more enjoyable if the tattered gazebo roof and sides were attached and in one piece. The listing said sleeps 10, with 4 bedrooms and 2 Murphy beds in living room. Never found the twin beds In living room, but there was enough room for a queen air mattress - and Walmart is nearby. We had a wonderful week - focused on time together and making the best of what the house offered. We changed some light bulbs and put a screw in the front door strike plate so the door would stay closed without the deadbolt and reported the dishwasher not working and a bedroom ceiling fan noisy and wobbling.

Not what I expected. My family and I traveled in for a few days to visit some family and we were eager to stay in a nice house. I booked this property weeks in advance and never received instructions from the owner on entering the property. The owner did get back with instructions on where the key was located and the keycode to the front door. Not a huge deal but annoying that it wasn't provided before our arrival. Upon entering the house and walking into the kitchen, I found the backdoor wide open. I informed the owner of this and never received a response. The pictures of the property were quite deceiving to what we experienced. All the rooms of the house are represented in the pictures, it's the condition of the rooms that wasn't properly represented. I feel like we were staying in a fraternity house based on the condition we found it. Multiple blinds in the house were broken/busted, laminate flooring popped up in different parts of the house, quarter-round broken and missing, transition pieces on the stairs not properly secured (tripping hazard), and several pieces of furniture that could use fixing or replacement. We felt the overall cleanliness was mediocre at best. Exhaust fans in the bathroom were clogged with dust, all the baseboards had dirt and grime, and multiple walls throughout the house had visible stains and grime. We didn't use pots or pans but I did find someone's **** scale in the kitchen. Had I known the house would be in this condition, I'd have booked another location.
