La chambre est très confortable. Le lit est couché et regarde les fleurs de neige qui tombent dehors de la fenêtre. L'environnement est bon 👍👍👍 Vous choisirez de rester la prochaine fois.

Nous sommes entrés dans le bâtiment et il y avait un gentleman à la place de la table de front sur le téléphone et quelques dames à la place du petit déjeuner en conversation. Nous attendions quelques minutes pour que le gars sortisse du téléphone, quand l'une des dames se levait et demandait comment elle nous aiderait. La chambre était sur le petit côté, datée et les meubles y étaient portés. La table dans la chambre qui nous a été donnée était sur ses dernières jambes. Les lits et le réfrigérateur étaient bien, mais il y avait une micro-ondes que nous n'avons pas utilisés. Il y avait aussi un Keurig et 4 pots de café/té. La salle de bain était sous-par. Le tube était enfoncé. Il y avait un mat de caoutchouc dans le tube qui a partiellement été lever quand vous utilisiez le tube. Pas sûr si c'était un stick ou un mat de caoutchouc et je n'ose pas le lever pour vérifier. Surprisely, all the products in the bathroom were Dove and not the normal HIE stuff. The pool was closed. Breakfast was fine, 2 types of eggs and meat to choose from as well as bread, fruits, cereals. The pancake machine was broken.

Quand j'y suis allé, les vêtements n'étaient pas très bien usés. J'ai été légèrement méprisé, mais j'ai été plus poli pour l'enregistrement. L'hôtel est situé au centre, entièrement équipé et les chambres sont confortables, propres et bien rangées. Les invités à l'enregistrement sont plus formels, ils viennent de rencontrer une réunion de classe. Le jour du départ, le téléphone devait être retardé d'une heure et a été confirmé.

overall good experience staying there but breakfast was not much to choose from

The Hilton Garden Inn is located within the Rochester University campus and only 5 minutes away from the wonderful and historic Mount Hope Cemetery. The hotel has a nicely decorated and welcoming lobby, with a restaurant on site that serves breakfast in the morning (my visit included the breakfast plan since I do not like going to look for breakfast in the morning). There were two comfortable double beds and a nice large bathroom in the room. Bed Linen and towels were clean and fluffy. The breakfast off the menu was good. I did not use the buffet but it did not appear to have a large variety. The hotel is a good jump off point to explore the Erie Canal, the fall colours of the Finger Lake District or just to walk along the Genesee River waterfront trail (which is lovely for walking and riding). So now for my issue with the housekeeping policy (not the housekeepers I would like to add). And yes, I am going to get political here! We were told upon arrival that because of Covid the rooms would be cleaned on the fifth day of stay or if we request it by calling before 8am the day we wanted to have the room cleaned. OK, policy understood! Some people can go for days without needing the room cleaned, I am not one of those people. One of the things I like most about staying in hotels is having daily housekeeping and arriving back in the room with the bed made and fresh towels if I leave them in the bath tub (which I do not do everyday). So twice we called, before 8 am to make the appointment. The phone rang for a long time, eventually we spoke to the front desk and the person took the room number and confirmed the request. Twice the room housekeepers never came and the room was never cleaned. What the hotel and the Hilton chain, as a whole, will not freely admit is that they have turned housekeeping into a ”gig” economy. The housekeepers are suppose to wait each day for a call. If they get a call, they work, if they not, no work. No work, no pay. So, to the surprise of no one, those mostly women of color were smart enough to get a regular and better paying job else, with guaranteed hours. That has left a smaller pool of available housekeepers. The hotel chain is making excessive profits on the backs of the lowest paying people in the hotel business. In addition, they do not tell you when you book that the room rate does not include housekeeping (so ask before booking), they do not amend the rates because they no longer clean the rooms. Same rates less service! There is simply something wrong with that business model that I cannot move on from as a traveler. In the future, I will be vetting the house keeping policy for all hotels before book.

La chambre était grande. Les équipements étaient encore meilleurs. Nous avons aimé la piscine. Je ne peux pas attendre de retourner. La salle de bain était super propre et ma vue était super même si je me suis vu laver la voiture. Elle était encore à la valeur. Merci.

Does not deliver Marriott experience in many ways. To note, I was staying at the Roch Airport Fairfield Inn for business on a Thursday and Friday night - just so happens, the PGA Championship was also in Rochester that week... Thursday night check in and sleep - no problem. Beds are ok. However, I did notice a faint smell of something I would describe as a combination of cigar smoke and mold. Not nice. Friday breakfast rather disappointing. Hot breakfast starts at 8am but when I arrived at 8:10, they were already out of all of the hot items for breakfast and no water in sight. Kitchen staff looked puzzled as to where the food had gone and took their time bringing out more. Food was welcomed and good. No water - get it from the workout room or front desk I was told. Really? Many chairs broken and uncomfortable to sit in. Went to shower after. No hot water. Shower handle barely moves. I do my best to wash in cold water (sink wasn't much better) and tell them at the desk of the issue. They seemed to have known about this! Told me ”it was supposed to be fixed yesterday” blah blah whatever. I would like another room then. NOPE - full up. It is PGA weekend! They did not suggest that all of the hot water MAY have been used up by the other guests...they knew they had an issue. Friday night about 10pm. Did they fix the hot water in my room? No one knows. Can I have another room? Nope - full up. I check the shower, no hot water and handle is now what I would call broken - would not shut off all the way. Guess I expected the no hot water thing but the broken handle? What is going on? Did maintenance mess something up more-so? I was awoken at aprox 11:30pm by the hotel manager knocking then entering my room - while I was sleeping. He immediately accuses me of ”flooding the whole hotel”. WHAT are you talking about?? The broken shower apparently was filling up the service space behind the shower...flooding my room floor, the next room over and 3 rooms below. He notices the handle is broken and shuts of water from service space. Strange thing then happens: he immediately produces keys for another room just around the corner. Other rooms miraculously became available for me and for 3 other guests. Truly a miracle when you have been told twice that they are full and there are no other rooms for you. Reality: they had rooms. Bigger rooms. No other amenities - just more floor space as it was a corner room. No one initially wanted to spend the 6 mins to type and change my room - so laborious. I had to ask for the one night compensation - they were not going to give that to me. NOPE. DAB

Quand je suis entrée et enregistrée à midi-noit, je suis surpris que la chambre n'ait pas de réfrigérateur (le réfrigérateur a de l'espace, mais il était très désordre quand la porte était ouverte), le coffre n'a pas fonctionné, il n'y avait pas de turbo ． Même si je me plains de la réception, je ne peux pas m'occuper de ça, parce que c'est ． à midi-noit, après tout, J'ai passé du temps sans ventilateur après avoir lavé le bain ． En outre, l'un des lampes à coucher n'avait pas de lampe, et le lampe de bureau avait été brisé ． Le matin suivant, quand je me plaignais à nouveau sur la réception, j'ai apporté le réfrigérateur et le ventilateur ce jour. Remplacer le coffre ． a également réparé d'autres lumières, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi j'ai loué la chambre ． Temporairement, l'ingénieur qui a installé le réfrigérateur s'est excusé ． Le service de la chambre ３ １ Dans ． Changement de toile, pas de nettoyage ． Dans le couloir, le couloir a été tombé ．２ Je ne veux plus On est restés ．

Allez à Rochester pour visiter la chambre réservée. Hôtel propre Le petit déjeuner est simple et le service est chaleureux. Il y a un grand supermarché près de l'hôtel, ce qui est pratique. La navette aéroport a des horaires de travail limités et il est trop tôt ou trop tard pour fournir des services. Nous avons quitté le magasin à 4 heures du matin. A cette époque, nous ne pouvions pas prendre de taxi. Heureusement, nous avions rendez-vous avec Uber à l'avance.
