The Luray Caverns, touted the best caverns on the East Coast, are 35 minutes away. The Virginia Museum of the Civil War and the New Market Battlefield are 45 minutes away. Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Richmond and many more civil war battlefields are less than 2 hours away. Elkton / Massanutten has some very nice restaurants including, Hanks, El Paso, and Romano's Italian Bistro for dining. In the evenings, relax in the large jacuzzi tub, cooking dinner on the gas grill, and roasting marshmallows or making s'mores at the fire pit.
