Antica Dimora de Michaelis

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à Antica dimora de michaelis. Notre chambre était belle et propre. C'est dans un quartier incroyable au centre de tout et au coin de la Piazza Navona. Le petit déjeuner est servi à quelques pas au coin de leur autre hôtel sur le toit avec une belle vue. Le monsieur qui a servi notre petit déjeuner était très attentionné et adorable. J'ai adoré mon séjour là-bas merci ❤

It was much better than what I expected. Very clean and beautiful in a great location, enjoyed every night in it.

If you want to be in the heart of it all this is a great spot , walking distance to everything. Check in on the main road via Zardenelli at the sister property, the hotel sign is tiny and at first I thought the taxi had taken me to the wrong place. I had pre paid before and only had to pay the few euros city/local tax when I was there. So its very authentic and you get an actual key for the front door and the room door so keep it safe. The room was lovely and how nice to be upgraded so i had a large bathroom and sofa in the room overlooking via dei coronari. The lift has a code to be able to use it and the numbers are so tiny so be careful not to incorrectly input the wrong number, the wifi was good for both calls and browsing. When i got into the room , the lamp didn't work , so when we called the only number i had from the booking confirmation i printed a guy answered on his mobile ! I thought there would be a number to call reception at the sister hotel , but no he then called them and they came over to look at the lamp. There was a fridge and extra pillows, blankets but NO glasses!! not even a glass in the bathroom ... so nothing to drink out of when I did buy drinks for the fridge (disappointing) and I couldn't call the guy back on his mobile for a glass, they should be in the room as standard. As others have said there are NO channels on the TV that are in English , even CNN or BBC world news out of the 200 channels would be great for international visitors. The hotel were great to keep our bags whilst we did the last bit of sightseeing. I was there for 3 nights and that was more than fine. I didn't use the breakfast at the sister hotel as I met friends so cannot comment on what it was like. For the price, location and ease of check in I would stay here again. I

We absolutely loved our stay here - room was clean and very unique/old style- it really gave that extra vibe for our stay in Rome. Location is amazing- 3 minutes from Plaza Nova, 15 min from Vatican and all other attractions are walking distance . Breakfast is served on roof terace in Main Mansion Antica Dimora Delle Cinque Lune***Hotel - just 100m from the accommodation with spectacular rooftop views. Staff are so helpful and friendly - receptionist staff ( didn't get her name - she was working on the day of our check in 21.05.2022) was very friendly and helpful- she showed us our accommodation and helped with few tips to make our trip more pleasant. Breakfast staff - Lester - excellent customer service. Bernadette-working also in Rosamundas pizzeria ( highly recommended) - excellent customer service. ( p.s. all staff members in Rosamundas pizzeria were super nice - we visited few times 🙂) We would definitely stay again. P.s. - just to plan your visit- there is no Iron or Kettle available in the room.

I carefully chose the property and was disappointed when the toilet flush stopped working on my second day. After several hours of messages to the staff I was finally offered an alternative room (at 10.30 pm) at a different property (Cinque Lune). The new room was unpleasant - it was small and dark and the street-noise and lack of air-conditioning made it impossible to sleep. I asked for a refund so I could move elsewhere for the remainder of my trip to Rome. This was refused. Having paid in advance, I was forced to stay somewhere I did not want to. The staff I dealt with on reception were understanding but the management refused to accept my distress: as they could not provide me the room I had booked and paid for (or would not repair the broken toilet) I should be refunded and allowed to leave. It felt very much like I was being trapped. I would not waste my money with this company again.

Very good position - 3 min. to Piazza Navona. Staff ok, we have a good communication and very helpful. Breakfast minimal, but correct for the price and location. A happy solution with the terrace. Room and furniture - completely different from other hotels - very nice for us. Cleaning - daily, nothing to complain. TOTAL: WE EXPECTED ONE YEAR AND HALF TO BE THERE, AND WE DON'T REGRET. THAN YOU.

The hotel is situated in the center of Rome, Big room, Great Terrace, you just have to know that you have to pick up your keys from the sister hotel mentioned in their website. I would go back there again anytime.
