Luxury Rooms

We stayed here from October 8-16/2022. Our luxury room contained historic architectural elements that were quirky & interesting. The bed was comfortable & the beautiful bathroom had everything we needed. Our room faced the street & was close to a main intersection but the noise was pretty minimal & didn't interfere with our sleep. The location was perfect for us as the Piazza Navona neighborhood is a favourite. Barbara was on-site every day we were there & was helpful with any questions we had. She was also quickly accessible on Whatsapp. Barbara also cleaned our room daily to high standard. My husband & I are not picky, particular people. We value travel for what we experience in the city we stay in. We don't necessarily put high value on where we stay as we don't spend a lot of time there, just require a comfortable & safe place to sleep. Behar's Luxury Rooms exceeded our expectations & we'd be happy to stay there again.

Well where to start …. We had to text before arriving and were sent pictures of where to find the keys to our room which turned out to be on a window sill on the outside of the property . On entering the main hallway we thought that this property would be promising how wrong we were . We thought that there would be someone to greet us and tell us where and what time breakfast was served even just information in the room of these things . No nothing !!!! While the property hallway is luxury looking the same can not be said for the room we were given . Basic was an understatement in the room we were given it had a bed and a noisy fridge no other furniture or Tv things that I think are standard especially as they are claiming to be luxury . We had the reminisce of toilet paper left on the roll and had to search for more to replace it . The bathroom was as basic as the room but quite clean apart from some mould in the shower . We had no communication with the owner never saw breakfast and when it came to checking out had no idea what we were suppose to do , so ended up leaving the keys in the room . While the property is in a good location it is not somewhere I would choose to stay again .

The location is great but this is not a hotel. There is no one on site to welcome clients or deal with problems. The check-in procedure is totally unprofessional. A few hours before my flight, someone from the guest house wrote me a message telling me that the maid was leaving the keys on a window sill outside the building, which is on one of the busiest streets in Rome. We were able to get into the room but the procedure did not inspire much confidence about the security of the building. Anyone could have taken those keys. A few days later, I saw another bag with keys in the same place, so this seems to be standard operating procedure. There is no one taking care of the place except for a maid who comes every day at 11 am and throws all your belongings into your partner’s bag and vice versa and then dumps your clean clothes into your dirty laundry bag (I’m not kidding). She’s extremely intrusive and also stingy with toilet paper and changes the towels only every three days. On the third day, the wifi stopped working. As no one is on site, the problem was never fixed. Unfortunately, the 4G reception is very poor in the rooms. All of the rooms are on a slightly elevated ground floor. This means you have no privacy if you open the windows (unless you close the shutters but then you have no light). If the windows are open, you also hear all the traffic and conversations from the street. The bathroom and shower are fine but the bedding was a bit dingy. We would not return.

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti per il capodanno. La struttura è deliziosa e ben curata in ogni dettaglio. La posizione fantastica. A due passi da piazza Navona e vicinissima ai principali punti d’interesse. Ci siamo mossi quasi sempre a piedi ma tuttavia la fermata dell’autobus è proprio accanto. Provenienti da Roma Termini con il bus n. 70 siamo scesi esattamente di fronte all’entrata. La gentilezza e la disponibilità della proprietaria con cui ci siamo sentiti numerose volte telefonicamente è stata impeccabile. Così come quella della ragazza che ci ha accolto. È stato veramente un piacere soggiornare in questa location.
