Hotel Gloria

Hotel Gloria was a great experience! Luca was very attentive, held our luggage for us after to check out while we explored Rome. It’s located perfectly in the city that you can explore all of the main attractions! Everything was walkable! My fiancée and I had an amazing time. Rooms and hotel are locked so we weren’t worried about our luggage or valuables during our adventure! Very close to the train station was a bonus about a 2 min walk!!

The place is situated only a few metres from the Roma Termini railway station, with lots of eateries and cafes around, a 20-minute walk to the centre. A bit difficult to find as there is no big sign on the building and there are more hotels and hostels in the same building - this one is on the second floor, consisting of approximately 10 rooms + 2 shared bathrooms. The room had a washbasin, TV set, chair and table, then a bed of course and a wardrobe and lamp. The staff was friendly and helpful, there was no problem to leave the hotel at 5 in the morning. The shared bathrooms were clean. Could have a larger sign at the entrance, without a sat nav I wouldn´t have found it. You can hear all the noise from the corridor, even telephone calls at the receptioin desk. And you have to ring the bell either at the main entrance or on the second floor to get in (but it´s quite understandable.

Bedbugs, chinches, the place is infested with a plague. I was bitten to pieces. Chinches!!! BEDBUGS!! ¡Absolutamente asqueroso! Hay chinches por todas partes. Pase lo que pase, no te alojes en este hotel. Pasamos dos noches de las tres reservadas. Al final tuvimos que mudarnos a un airbnb a un costo adicional e inesperado! Este espantoso alojamiento casi arruina nuestro fin de semana romántico y tres semanas después todavía nos rascábamos por las picaduras. Antes de que salgas, revisa cuidadosamente tu equipaje, lo peor sería llevar los bichos a casa y comenzar una plaga en tu propio hogar. Su licencia debe ser revocada y no se debe permitir que este establecimiento continúe en el negocio hasta que haya erradicado este problema.

We stayed to hotel Gloria only for one night but really enjoyed it, The beds were very comfortable and clean. Luca, the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming! We asked him to left our bags for several hours at the hotel after check out and he accepted! Thank youu!!! Paola and Anja :)

Ci garantiscono che si possa prenotare da minorenni ( così diceva booking) e ci negano l accesso alla struttura, lasciandoci da soli in zona termini ( pessima) di sera. Siamo 2 ragazzi di 17 anni venuti a Roma solo per vedere una partita e per poco non ci ritrovavamo a dormire fuori, senza un tetto sopra la testa. L’ Hotel non sembrava male ma dopo questa sgradevole esperienza sconsiglio a tutti di prenotare qui.

Siamo arrivati alle 16 nel appartamento,la mia amica che è venuta dalla Spagna per me(che vivo in Italia da 20 anni) ha lasciato la valigia senza problemi.... arrivo alle 17 prendiamo le chiavi e ci accompagnano nella casa, eravamo due adulti e tre ragazze.... Arriviamo e non c'è un salone,c'è una cucina minuscola e una doccia che fatta per Hobbit 😂😂 Perché se hai un sedere prorompente non ci stai!!! E vero che non abbiamo speso molto però un minimo di comodità te lo aspetti..... asciugamani non ci sono,ce li hanno portati il giorno dopo.... Per dormire e fare una doccia di fortuna va bene,per il resto....non ci siamo. Il giorno della partenza ci hanno tenuto le valigie per poche ore....
