Donc cet hôtel est proche de la gare/station de métro, et c'est un plus, mais l'hôtel est dans la meilleure moyenne. Le personnel était merveilleux, et je n'ai jamais eu de problèmes avec le personnel de l'hôtel ou de questions... mais cet hôtel a vraiment besoin d'une rénovation. La douche ******, presque aucune pression d'eau, le lit était bien, mais toute la chambre m'a semblé être un cran au-dessus d'une chambre privée d'auberge. Il y avait un réfrigérateur, qui gardait les choses au frais, mais pas froides. Il n'y avait pas de chaise dans la chambre, mais il y avait un tabouret en métal semi-confortable. Ils vous donnent une petite bouteille de 3-1 wash pour votre douche, et un bonnet de douche, donc c'est un plus. Et il y a un sèche-cheveux, juste à l'extérieur de la salle de bain. Ma recommandation, si votre budget est serré et que c'est la seule chose dans votre budget, c'est bien, pas sale, pas d'insectes, personnel sympathique. Mais si vous pouvez vous permettre un autre hôtel, je choisirais un autre. Le rapport qualité-prix n'est pas là.

Nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit en transit, nous avions donc juste besoin d'un endroit décent pour dormir, l'emplacement était proche de Rome mais juste en dehors du chaos, j'ai apprécié ça. Le quartier était un peu bizarre au début, beaucoup de graffitis, avait l'air sale et des gens étranges sous le pont alors que nous marchions depuis la gare d'Ostiense mais l'hôtel était propre, le lit confortable, c'était sur les voies mais le son ne dérangeait pas moi, je dors avec des bouchons d'oreilles, ils étaient également très sympathiques à l'arrivée. C'est juste au-dessus d'un restaurant qui semblait très populaire, donc c'est pratique pour manger un morceau. Dans l'ensemble, la chambre a rempli son rôle pour le prix.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, they had not only helped me when I ran into some booking issues, but they also were very helpful in regards to giving us tips and advice when it came to the trip, and generally gave us a very welcoming stay during out first leg in Italy. As for the rooms they are very comfortable, and well taken care of, yes the rooms are close to the train lines but the windows are have 3 different layers to help block out the sound which makes it much less disturbing. Additionally the neighborhood is friendly with many local restaurants I would highly recommend having one night of dinner in the hotel area. I would definitely go again, thank you Crossroad staff for such a wonderful and welcoming stay. PS. I initially had a bit of worry on their self check in process due to my own anxiety and the fact that we arrive at 2am but it was extremely smooth and easy!

6 months on from visiting Rone to run the marathon,I was back to take it on a second tine. Having enjoyed my stay at Crossroad so much the first time,there was no question of hunting for somewhere else. There were a few new menbers to the team of staff,but absolutely no change in the excellence,and friendliness of eveyone who works there;different personnel, same wonderful culture. Those who were still there from my first visit remembered me,and welcomed me back warmly. As last time,it was the small touches that make the difference:Taking an interest in my personal story,taking time to find out about my family,offering advice on how to get the most out of my trip. To use a phrase which will make most marathon runners shudder,CROSSROAD HOTEL GO THE EXTRA MILE. Grazie Mille,see you soon!!

I booked this hotel as it was very close to a place where I was attending an event. So location for me was perfect but not a great location for sight seeing Rome's attractions unless you used public transport. The closed attraction on foot was The Coliseum and it was 40 minutes walk. If you stay here ask for a room overlooking the street. My room was at the back and the view from the window once you managed to get the shutters prised apart was of a brick wall. The train station was on that side so there was some noise from trains but the hotel had provided ear plugs for guests. I found the noise of people talking downstairs in the hotel foyer middle of the night much more annoying than the trains, they did that shouty speaking which is common in Italy. The room was spotless and big enough for a solo traveller. The TV only had Italian channels and about 40 of them. The receptionist were generally helpful. The surrounding area outside was quite rundown and I was very mindful of my safety when outside. I was very pleased that reception ordered me a taxi back to the airport with a reputable company who were able to message me with ETA and charged me the correct price.
