Great location, 12 minute walk to Trevi fountain, 35 mins to St. Peter's Good ~ Customer Service Clean and appealing appearance Coffee & cookies available 24/7, great coffee Accessibility: There are stairs to access the elevator, stairs to access the room balcony, stairs to access the bathroom. Expensive: after exchange rate, almost $200 CAD /night Bed: memory foam that remembered the last 100 guests, please replace Bathroom: shower provides good temperature, good pressure, had to jerry-rig the shower head to keep it in an elevated position. Visited 21-23 Oct 2024, we arrived early, around 11am and found that our rooms were available and we didn't have to wait for the 2pm check in. If they had not been ready, it was possible to leave our luggage there and come back later. The place looks nice, statues and the like, clean. The attendant was present at front desk when we arrived, so there was no trouble checking in. However, if you arrive and the door is locked because the attendant is upstairs cleaning a room, or if you arrive after hours, I'm not sure what the protocol would be to gain access to the building. Our room looked small and cute, well decorated with roman artifacts and a balcony that looked out onto the street. Our room safe was locked in the open position, I asked for that to be remedied, but it was not, we stored our passports in our friends room next door. The bathroom was small, if I was any fatter, I could see problems maneuvering. Didn't like the bed, aged memory foam. Our friends occupied the room next door, they said their bed was too firm, I would have preferred that bed I think. The elevator is necessary, the stairs are many and narrow, it would be difficult to carry luggage up those stairs. At one point the elevator did not work and for a while we had to traverse the stairwell up & down. Overall I like the place, it could have been a little better. I've been in worse.
