Also, there is an additional sleeping space in the living room with a full size pull out sofa bed. Finally, for an additional fee, we do allow for 2 dogs under 50 lbs each to stay. The backyard is completely fenced in with a 4ft high fence. We have local trails to explore for snowmobiles, quads, dirt bikes, ATV's and side by sides just around the corner. Only 4 miles from the 6/7 trail head at the US-127 exit 201 that you can ride to from the driveway. We have a front deck with a gas grill and furniture out back to help you relax and soak up the summer sun! There's a large outdoor table with chairs as well as a picnic table. We have a large double lot with wooded lots on both sides (no close neighbors!) that provide a peaceful private up north setting along with a stone bonfire pit out back for roasting s'mores under the stars. For those rainy days enjoy a game of cards under the cathedral ceiling covered porch out back with a ceiling fan and dimmable LED lights! Gerrish Twp. park is a local boat launch that is one mile away. It provides docking, boat launch, fishing, picnic area, and much more as you enjoy our Northern Michigan summers. Perch, pike, and trout are among the fish that can be caught in Higgins Lake plus public restrooms and a rinsing station. All is accessible by car.South State Park and Campground is just 2 miles away which also offers a public beach and boat launch as well as camping.
