Hôtels proches de Wai-o-Tapu Welcome Centre, Rotorua

Il est bien loin du village de Maori et du parc géothermique.

J'ai séjourné à l'hôtel Sudima Lake Rotorua pendant trois nuits, en attendant une conférence, et le Sudima a été choisi comme le plus cher des quatre énumérés par les organisateurs de conférence. Les chambres sont à la fois agréables et agréables. Il y a une personne sur le bureau de réception et un seul autre enregistrement avant moi. Le rentrée a pris un temps apparemment interminable, mais cela peut se produire pour n'importe quelle raison. Mon rentrée a semblé normale, mais l'expérience a ensuite été « venu à la custard ». J'ai assigné une chambre au troisième étage, j'ai dû aller avec mon sac à la chambre. Là, la carte magnétique de porte ne s'ouvre pas. Je suis retourné au troisième étage et, oui, les cartes de la porte ont ouvert la porte cette fois. Le matériel qui entoure la salle a montré que cette personne était également un participant à une conférence. (Interessant, il y avait une demi-bouteille de whisky sur une table, mais malheureusement c'était un mélange et pas un seul malt, donc il n'y avait pas de tentation de prendre quelques bourdons.) Avec le téléphone de la chambre, j'ai appelé le numéro de réception, mais il n'y avait pas de réponse. Anxieux que le résident de la chambre puisse retourner Je retourné une fois de plus au bureau de réception pour être fourni avec une nouvelle chambre et les cartes de porte correspondantes. Le 3ème étage a finalement été accueilli par une occupation de chambre valable à l'hôtel Sudima Lake Rotorua.

I'll start with the things I liked. The breakfast buffet. It was nice to have a quick way to get a good breakfast at the hotel. The decorating in the lobby was very nice. Now the not to nice parts: The room was cramped with 2 queen-sized beds. (Though it did have a refrigerator and kettle.) I opened the curtains to be surprised by shredded sheers. The wi-fi was very poor. The access is not handicap accessible. The front steps did not have a railing. The ramp was great for luggage, but would not have accommodated a wheelchair. (I have bad knees and use a cane.) They seems understaffed. A common problem throughout our trip. But the staff was helpful. They acknowledged the torn sheers and have plans to replace them all.

Très approprié pour choisir où séjourner, le parking doit être réservé à l'avance, l'attitude du service de la réception est vraiment bonne, vous pouvez vous rendre à pied au spa polynésien, l'emplacement est très bon, non loin du jardin du gouvernement. Pas un séjour unique, c'est un hôtel recommandé.

We just had an amazing 5 day stay! We had a family group of 8 (multi-generations) and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabins were perfect, with comfy beds, nice linen, small kitchen with all the essentials, and a bathroom. The communal areas were lovely and clean and well equipped. Nice communal lounge with a fire place. The big pool was heated and the thermal hot pools were awesome! Kids had fun on the trikes and the bouncing pillow. The staff were very helpful, the housekeeping staff were fantastic. Thanks Tasman Bay!

The positives first: The hotel is not terrible. It was not our first choice, but we ended up booking here, as well as booking our friends we were meeting here and another couple joined us for one night and paid for a room. We alerted the manager and he put us all on the the same floor, with a lake view. The room was clean. A little tight on space, but this is not a negative. Staff were friendly. The negatives: NO HOT WATER!! We stayed for 4 nights. One person out of 6 had a hot shower, as he showered just after we arrived. That was the last hot shower. The water was progressively colder, each day. And it was the whole hotel. This was the topic of conversation with every other hotel guest we happened to meet in the lift. We complained, every day. At each stage, we were told they were... waiting for someone to turn up...the problem was fixed but because everyone kept using the water it could not warm up...the problem was not fixed, they were waiting for someone from somewhere else. I think they had no idea and I did feel sorry for the staff, but a hot shower is absolutely a basic requirement. At no stage was there a note slipped under the door to apologise and ask us to bear with them. It was incredibly frustrating. It seems petty after this to mention the bathrooms also need a bit of care and smell very mildewy, but if it were not for the hot water issue, this would have been my main complaint. The last thing to mention, it rained the whole time we were there and the Ibis has no lounge area. We ended up sitting in one of the rooms, as a group, having a natter, like high schoolers. This is more of a Rotorua problem, though, as Rotorua seemed to shut down early and there was no where to just chat, in the evenings. Ibis Rotorua is not somewhere we will stay again.

En principe, c'est un service d'auto-assistance, la piscine est grande, en fait très petite, ne peut pas être utilisée. La maison de la chaussée est plus propre, la sortie est le lac, vous pouvez voir le ciel noir

La chambre était très confortable, la chambre était très confortable et la chambre était très confortable. La seule plainte de mon mari était qu'il n'y avait pas de canaux ciel disponibles et nous avons besoin de nos propres comptes netflix, etc. Nous avons dû nous battre pour le parking, même si nous parkings juste en dehors des chambres et que certaines personnes viennent avec plus d'un véhicule par chambre (Hubby a des problèmes de poumons si nécessaire pour un parking proche), sinon nous l'aimons très bien - merci.

Newina est un hôtel de taille moyenne, situé à 5 minutes du centre ville Le gestionnaire a été très utile et a eu une excellente connaissance des attractions touristiques dans la région. La chambre était sans spot et nous étions ravis de voir un jardin privé avec un vaste spa. Il y a aussi une piscine et une petite salle de conférence. Lave-linge complet situé sur le sol. Très abordable et nous allons certainement rester à nouveau

Was one if the cheaper options for our dates, we were pleasantly surprised. It looked and smelt new, had elevators to our floor. Room was small but practical, had fridge and jug. Bed was a double and quite small and for some reason seemed short but we slept OK. Very clean and well kept. Had small full length widow that looked into small atrium of the other rooms. Only negative was when the toilet was flushed, a sewerage smell came up through the drain. Easy parking, bottle store and restaurant on site but didnt use. Situated almost opposite luge. Had a car so location to town was not an issue, however, there were fast food outlets within walking distance that we noticed anyway. Overall, was good for our needs and would stay again.
