Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge

This was a wonderful trip for us. We were at Sabi Sabi for four days, and cannot say enough about all of the staff who dealt with us, particularly the ranger and tracker on our twice-daily safaris and the wait staff at our excellent meals. For anyone planning a trip to South Africa, I recommend Sabi Sabi whole heartedly. It is a not-to-be missed experience.

We had a tremendous stay and visit at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge. The staff are INCREDIBLE. Our ranger, Anthea, and tracker, Tshepo, were very knowledgeable and passionate to teach us throughout our 4 night stay. We not only saw all of the Big 5 but had intimate experiences with each animal with several truly unforgettable moments. We learned SO MUCH on each drive about the ecosystem and highly recommend the Bush Walk. In the lodge, we experience phenomenal care from all staff, especially Foster as he catered to us and patiently taught us more of the local language. We also loved the Community Experience that was lead by our tracker, Tshepo, and great to see the positive impact they are making. Highly highly recommend the experience at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge!

The stay at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge made for a truly exceptional and memorable experience for our 25th anniversary celebration. Kudos to each and every staff member who took such good care of us with genuine warmth and friendliness, sharing their love of the bush and all its incredible inhabitants.The lodge itself is gorgeous and so luxurious, with so much attention to detail, starting from the decor of the rooms, the ambience of the lounge, the exquisite meals and the incredible spa. A special shout out to our guide Queen and tracker Antwan, who constantly amazed us with their knowledge and passion for the bush, making each safari so exciting and unique. It felt like we were saying goodbye to old friends when we had to leave! Having traveled to many countries all over the world, this trip truly stands out at the top. We would be back in a heartbeat if we could - everything was just absolutely perfect!! Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge!

I had the privilege of being a guest of the Bush Lodge. What stood out for me was the the way in which the games drives were organized and presented with a designated guide and spotter for the duration of my stay. The absence of any private vehicles and vehicles of other concessions on the road. The going off road at sightings and the limitation of vehicles allowed at a sighting all contributed to making this a unique and wonderful experience. Add to that a very knowledgeable guide and spotter provided for some expert information. The friendliness and professional personnel in the lodge was fully complimentary to the overall experience.

We stayed for 4 nights at Bush Lodge with our 9 year old daughter. It is luxurious yet relaxed. The safari experience was exceptional and a special mention must go to our guide Queen and tracker Anton….their knowledge was second to none and their camaraderie so special. They made it so fun! The lodge suites are so spacious and stunning. The food is so varied and delicious and all the catering team were so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. A trip to the spa was a lovely treat and the Elefun kids club for my daughter was perfect for her with tons to do. Conrad and the team run a very special place and our memories will stay with us forever!

A Truly Unforgettable Experience at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge I had the absolute privilege of staying at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge, and it exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, who made me feel at home instantly. The attention to detail throughout the lodge is incredible – elegant, yet still very connected to the surrounding nature. The game drives were out of this world. Our ranger and tracker were both extremely knowledgeable and passionate, and we were lucky enough to see the Big Five within the first two days. Every drive was a new adventure, and I always felt safe and well taken care of. Back at the lodge, the food was consistently outstanding – fresh, beautifully presented, and full of local flavor. My suite was spacious, comfortable, and offered amazing views of the bush – I even saw elephants walking past my veranda! What really made the difference was the people. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. Their warmth and professionalism made me feel more like a guest in someone’s home than at a hotel. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is not just a place to stay – it’s a place to connect with nature, with others, and with yourself. I can’t wait to return.
