Historic District Bnb

Lovely stay with a lovely host. The house is beautifully restored. The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and fluffy towels. There are some extra touches, like a coffee and snack bar as well as a made to order breakfast. Fantastic location within walking distance to restaurants, shops and some tourist attractions. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Historic District BnB. It is a stately, elegant house, in an excellent location. Very comfortable. Kevin is an awesome chef and host, a true master at his craft.

Kevin’s establishment is absolutely one of the finest BnB’s we have ever enjoyed. He was so accommodating to us regarding our schedules, dietary wishes and very accessible whenever we needed anything. The best breakfast was enjoyed as well as the coffee bar and snacks. The location in Cathedral Hill historic district is perfect for walking to Summit and Grand Ave. A stone’s throw from downtown and easy access to the airport. The bed was so comfortable and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We wish to return to St. Paul again just to enjoy this great place. We WILL be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! Every morning started with a delicious, chef-prepared breakfast that was both beautifully presented and full of flavor—truly a highlight of our trip. The carriage house was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beds were incredibly cozy, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and peaceful atmosphere made this a perfect getaway. Highly recommend—can’t wait to come back!

As a women traveling solo I can’t give this place a high enough rating. Everything was great, safe atmosphere, beautiful room, so comfortable, excellent neighborhood and fantastic food! Would recommend in a heartbeat! Kevin was friendly and helpful!

It’s hard to start this review just because of all the great things I have to say. So I’ll just list them off to start: Flexible check in, we were able to walk right in and get to our room without any hassle. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked. Bedroom was also very clean. The sheets on the bed were so nice! Roku TV was included in our room with some streaming apps already logged in on the owners account. There was a fridge in our room which was nice for keeping leftovers. There were tons of board games on the main level available to anyone. They also had movies but our room didn’t have a dvd player. There is a “snack bar” outside the rooms upstairs that includes pretzels, breakfast bars, coffee and other beverages. Breakfast was amazing. The owner, Kevin, makes the breakfast. He had worked throughout the restaurant/service industry for a long time before finding himself here. We went downstairs for breakfast and were greeted with fresh fruit, muffins and fresh brewed coffee. Kevin greeted us promptly and offered us three options for breakfast; light, sweet and savory. I don’t want to spoil anything but my partner and I very much enjoyed our meals. Kevin’s culinary experience shined bright in everything we had. The house itself is very historic. The second you walk through the oversized front door you could feel the history and elegance. Truly a gem and by far our favorite BnB experience. We stayed in the F. Scott Fitzgerald room and it was perfect for our one night stay. My only gripe would be the pillows weren’t the best but a very small detail.
