Large open concept downstairs brings guests in the kitchen, living room and dining area together on the main floor. Great views of the mountains and yard for games, picnics and gathering. We have a dock to park your boat and to walk out to shallow swimming, great for small children. Short walking distance to snack shop and ice cream stand. There is also a convenience store within walking distance, and we are also very close to Kampersville which is an RV park with lots of entertainment! Bring your bikes for a ride or rent a paddle boat from a nearby rental. Nearby hike to Silver Lake or Moosalamoo We are an 8-minute drive to the college town of Middlebury. In Middlebury, you will find a variety of restaurants, art galleries, waterfalls, boutique shopping, local breweries, a whisky distillery, and a vineyard. You can also spend the day golfing. South of Lake Dunmore is the quaint little town of Brandon. We suggest a delicious pastry at Cafe Provence or dinner at The River, Foleys has incredible beer and food offerings. Brandon is also famous for their art gallery and tiny shops. Do you want terrific pizza? Check out Brandon House of Pizza or Green Peppers in Middlebury. For the thrill seekers in the bunch, you can skydive in Addison County or hit up the slopes in the winter like Pico, Killington, Middlebury Snow Bowl (has night skiing), or Sugarbush. For a calmer pace explore hiking trails in our area..
