Tru by Hilton San Antonio at the Rim

The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were spotless. It was a great location as well because of how close the malls were.

The staff was courteous and kind (Aaron, Nathan and Kimberly made me feel welcome), the breakfast was amazing and kept the area clean! The location is super convenient and only 5 minutes from La Cantera Mall. I definitely will be staying here again!

Elia was amazing at check in and super helpful with all the questions we had. We are super excited to stay at the hotel! It looks beautiful! Very nice atmosphere! The pool is also beautiful as well! Very family friendly and would recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel :)

Loved the breakfast! Harris went out of his way to ensure my boyfriend’s allergies weren’t affected by certain things as well as bringing us condiments to our table!!! Elia was super super awesome! She not only was super funny but she went out of her way to tell us what places to go and how to avoid the traffic!! I loved the boards and the creativity the pictures showed with areas to go to in San Antonio!! Will definitely be back!

I was really disappointed with my stay at Tru by Hilton at The Rim. The hotel looks modern and stylish in photos, but in reality, it falls short in a lot of key areas. First, the rooms are extremely small—even for a budget-friendly hotel. There’s barely any storage space, and the minimalist design just feels cheap rather than functional. The beds were uncomfortable, and the thin walls meant I could hear everything from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The breakfast was another letdown. While it’s advertised as a complimentary perk, the selection was very limited, and what was available wasn’t fresh or appetizing. The coffee was weak, and the seating area felt overcrowded. Cleanliness was also an issue. The room didn’t feel properly cleaned, with dust in the corners and a musty smell in the bathroom. Housekeeping was inconsistent, and I had to ask multiple times for fresh towels the night girl Isn’t friendly. Finally, the customer service was hit or miss. Some staff members were friendly, but others seemed indifferent or overwhelmed. When I had an issue with my room key not working, it took longer than expected to get it resolved. Overall, for the price, I expected better. The location is convenient, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby that offer a more comfortable and enjoyable stay. I wouldn’t stay here again. Seem to have no management at all. Prisoners running the asylum.
