Excellent location and price and very clean and tidy! Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed a couple of times now and will stay again the next time we come! Would highly recommend 👌. It is right in the centre so plenty of bars and good restaurants near by.

We were a family gathering for a long weekend for a celebration. We booked 3 apartments directly with the hotel and from the first correspondence they were so helpful and friendly. The night before we decided to rent a car and late in the evening I contacted the hotel enquiring about parking only to be amazed when I got an immediate response. We were able to park a small car under the hotel and we availed of this for €10 per night which was brilliant. It is a tight space so when they say a small car, take this seriously!!! Part of the family were coming from a different country and unfortunately their flight was cancelled and so they did not arrive until the next day. Despite the fact that we had taken the key and put food in the fridge the hotel very decently did not charge them for that night which meant a lot to us. The apartments were spacious and the beds were firm but comfortable. All the staff were so pleasant at all times. Anything we needed was immediately looked after. We would return in a heartbeat and hopefully we will. The location of the hotel is second to none being within easy walk of anything you could want. There are loads of restaurants, shops and supermarkets (a Spar and a Hiper market) within a few yards of the front door. The beach is three or four minutes walk. There are lovely squares and a playground for children in the town. It was our first visit to the island and won't be our last and having the right accommodation is the first step to a good time. Thank you to all in Duquesa for making our special weekend just a bit more special.

Another lovely holiday based at The Duquesa. Spotlessly clean, fantastic staff , Walid and the team are so friendly! The apartments are basic, comfortable and have everything you need. They are on a busy road but have good glazing and air conditioning. In a busy and bustling town it’s not a quiet location but we love the hustle and bustle. The rooftop pool is never busy and a tranquil space.

Just returned from a week at hotel in a side sea view apartment. This apartment faced a very noisy and busy street and faced a residential block of apartments. Everything in the hotel seemed to have closed at the end of September which we were not aware of. Pool snack bar was shut, bar not open in reception. Unable to have a shower as it was taped up with some form of tape and the grout around the taps was filthy. And a few days into the holiday building work started next door with drilling in the morning and afternoon making it impossible to sit on the balcony. Maybe we were just unlucky

Duquesa Playa has staff with comfortable accommodation in the perfect location! The staff could not have been more helpful and the room was serviced daily. Towels were easily available for the pool/beach as weee sun umbrellas and we even borrowed a fan. The beach and a huge choice of restaurants are just a short walk away.
