Hotel Palladion

Simple, budget accommodation about a 10-minute walk to the main tourist area.  There were cafes and a grocery store within a hundred yards.   Friendly young gal checked me in and a very friendly gentleman bid me goodbye.   Room was small and furnished but clean and functional.  Lights, fridge, blow dryer, TV, and wifi all worked fine.   My room had a balcony with chairs, table and a drying rack overlooking the pool.  When out there, the Aegean Sea could be viewed in the distance.  Lots of towels provided.  Mattress was hard and thin.   Two issues:  air conditioning would turn off after five minutes so I gave up and opened the balcony doors which was perfect with the strong sea breeze.   The shower was tiny, as is common in cheaper European hotels, water would get everywhere and it was tough to hang the sprayer.   Most importantly, the water would diminish to a dribble for a time.  Happened both times I used.   Not everyone can deal with the latter but I tolerated it because the rest of the experience was nice.   Would stay again.
