Avis : Ibis Styles Sapporo

I had a wonderful stay at ibis Styles Hotel Sapporo during my trip to Hokkaido. The location is excellent — close to the Susukino area, with easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, and the subway. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, much larger than most city hotels in Japan. Staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile, making check-in and check-out smooth and pleasant. The hotel also provides convenient parking and luggage storage, which made our road trip so much easier. We especially appreciated the cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches in the room. After long days exploring Sapporo and nearby attractions, it felt like coming home. Overall, it’s great value for money and ideal for families or travelers visiting Hokkaido. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Sapporo!

Hotel was fine but basic, which is expected with an IBIS.  Location was fine near the metro and in walking distance of centre / area to get food. The bathroom had mould on the ceiling, which was disappointing.  Room was a good size for a couple and had a coffee maker.  There was no safe, which resulted us using my suitcase to store valuables, like our laptop etc.  Surprised a 3* plus hotel does not have a safe in the rooms. 

I stayed 3 nights and like my last comments, room is big but the room is little dated. This time i was able to get the parking right at the hotel which was very nice as it cost 1500Yen and it is reserved for all 3days so i can get in and out without paying everytime.

Room is quite big. Near Nakajima Park. Within walking distance to Nijo market, Sapporo Clock tower and shop street.

The hotel is strategically located and walking distance to Tanukikoji Shopping Street. Lots of food options and shopping. Our bedroom has a study table ideal for my hubby to do some quick work. Room size is decent for 2 adults and our 5 year old child. They tidied our room even though we did not request for room service. Our stay is pleasant and comfortable

Overall, it’s a standard ibis Styles experience—nothing much to complain about. The staff were exceptionally friendly and provided outstanding customer service. We accidentally inserted a coin into the card machine, mistaking it for a coin exchange machine. When we approached the staff for help, they promptly assisted us in retrieving the 1,000 yen and even delivered it to our room. The location isn’t as convenient as Susukino, but Nakajima-Koen Station is just a 4-minute walk away, making it easy to get around. Breakfast was average, with a decent selection of salads and small side dishes, but limited main courses. The highlight for me was their delicious banana ice cream.

This hotel is flexible to accommodate all four of us in single room. The location is good, service was excellent. And, price value for money.

Clean and decent room. Very convenient with shops and restaurants just downstairs. With car park discount and the staff is very helpful.

Room is big and clean. Availability of self service laundry machines is a bonus.

Room is spacious with a two seater sofa set. It is 10 mins walking distance to Subway. Can also walk to AOAO.

Nice clean rooms, nearby the sapporo and odori station. Walk along the streets of the hotel and you can find numerous cafes, stores and eateries. It's a good central location and easy to access via the train station. Less than 5 mins walk away. Recommended to stay for a good experience

We booked a Deluxe King room for three nights on the upper floor. The room was large, clean, and comfy. There is a convenient store near the hotel. Parking is provided at the hotel, however it is charged. The location is excellent; there are various restaurants and shopping streets nearby, all within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel staff is polite and helpful.
