Halte qui s'impose à la Sablonnerie: jardin de rêve, service diligent pour un groupe (ce qui est rare!), excellence des plats à partir de produits locaux. Je pratique ce restaurant depuis près de vingt ans en tant qu'accompagnateur-conférencier de personnes qui découvrent les îles anglo-normandes sur les pas de Victor Hugo. C'est, pour moi, à chaque fois, un plaisir renouvelé qui séduit toujours les touristes hugoliens. Comme chantaient les Platters: "Heaven on earth"...

endroit champêtre et paisible dans un écrin de verdure. Tout est bien, hotel, restaurant, (je vous conseille le homard, merveilleux) bar sans oublier le tea garden . ravie d'être venue de nouveau dans cet endroit. rural and peaceful place in a green setting. Everything is good, hotel, restaurant, (I recommend the lobster, wonderful) bar without forgetting the tea garden. Glad to have come back to this place again.

Endroit miraculeux tant pour le cadre que pour la cuisine, tant pour l’accueil que pour l’atmosphère. Elizabeth est la reine de l’île, qui a pourtant déjà un seigneur. Une qualité supplémentaire du lieu est qu’il n’est pas facile d’accès, ce qui le met à l’abri du déferlement touristique.

I have travelled to Sark on many occasions over the years, it is such a beautiful island to visit, it is ideal to relax and unwind! It is not the cheapest to get to, but oh boy is it worth it when you get there

We love the scones and Sark cream tea as well as the lovely flair of La Sablonnerie and visit the tea garden every week during summer. It is truely an outstanding restaurant here on Sark. All waiter and waitresses and their perfect service contribute to the excellent experience one gets, when visiting La Sablonnerie.

A belated review from a week's stay in May 22. The Perrée family as welcoming as ever and the chef, Colin, continuing his great form using local ingredients and a passion for French - Serquoise cusine. Looking forward to returning before the autumn days set in. Little Sark is September is like the UK in July!

Unfortunately the hotel and restaurant are not fully available at present but as ever what there is available is excellent. When there is the opportunity Colin produces the best be it a one off or a more regular offering. We managed only a short visit but all remains ready for normal service to be resumed when staff availability allows.

A group of us visited on what was, for summer time in Sark, an unusually drizzly day. So instead of sitting in the pretty gardens, we were ushered inside by proprietor Elizabeth and were immediately absorbed in the cozy and idyllic atmosphere of the old-world charm that is La Sablonnerie. Minutes before arriving at this unique hotel, we passed a field of Guernsey cows, the ones responsible for providing much of the dairy produce at the hotel, expertly looked after by Elizabeth’s brother Philip, who is also happy to meet guests at the harbour on his horse and carriage. Chef Colin provided a wonderful sea food lunch followed by little pots of chocolate mousse topped with raspberries and cream - an absolute delight. Next time I am booking a room!

We visited Sark with some friends on Thursday 2 June 2022 and enjoyed a fantastic lunch at La Sablonnerie. Elizabeth and her team treated us to some delicious food from local suppliers and fishermen, and very well looked after by the front of house team. The brilliant service and amazing food is complemented by a fantastic location and setting. We would highly recommend La Sablonnerie to anyone visiting Sark.
