Premier Inn Lincoln City Centre

We last visited Lincoln pre-Covid and stayed here in a standard double room – this time it was in a Premier Plus room on the 4th floor. I like Premier Plus rooms – they are functional rather than luxurious – the beds are comfy but IMO not as good as the Hypnos they replaced – bathroom – large walk-in shower – very limited range of toiletries – in this one fluffy towels – efficient fridge – kettle and separate coffee maker – water and chocolates that on request were replaced by the handful – okay air con – set to minimum of 19C with a tendency to turn itself off at random – as ever patchy wi-fi which is not really acceptable in 2025 – room quiet and dark – room servicing was by request Breakfast – buffet with eggs to order – paid for separately – which makes the Premier Inn offer seem less good value compared to say the Hampton by Hilton No on-site car parking – parking next door in Broadgate car park – no money off arrangements with the provider – so flat £7.20 for 24 hours The hotel is somewhat isolated – flat access across a busy dual carriageway to the City Centre and Brayford Pool and then up the Steep Hill towards the Cathedral/Castle area – being about 10 minutes away on foot from the shops and restaurants – we ate at Turtle Bay and Triana Tapas Bar – the latter recommended We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time and stay again – the room was comfortable, and the staff were as ever welcoming and always very helpful – thank you

From time to time, we get a life-affirming chance to see people at their best, and at the Premier Inn in Lincoln City Centre, I encountered one such experience recently.. The stay at the hotel was wonderful. The bar staff, in particular, did everything they could to help us feel warm and welcomed, and each beemed a smile that simply raised the spirit! Indeed, I felt the need to commend the quality of staff behaviour to the duty manager on my way out. On reaching home, I realised I'd absentmindedly forgotten my wallet, which Id left in the room.i called the hotel, and within minutes, they called back to confirm it was safe and they would send it on. The next day, the Royal Mail duly delivered a well wrapped and secure package. My money (no small amount either!) and other valuables were back with me! The staff at the Premier Inn are simply the best!! They looked after us in every way, and I am so grateful to them for their efficiency and their kindness. The hotel was ideally placed with easy access to the adjacent car park. The room was clean and fresh and of course the staff were fabulous by any measure!' Their role is often pressured, but somehow, the team in Lincoln always wore a smile and a friendly greeting! I'd have no hesitation in commending the place and truly hope one day to return and catch up with the team there!! A huge Thank you is owed to all the staff there but especially to James (! think was his name) the duty manager who was such an impressive figure who I hope will rise up with time..

We both slept well on the bed just as Sir Lenny Henry promised. We were greeted on arrival by a smile, dealt with professionally and efficiently. The lady was polite and happy. Our room was as advertised, airy, clean and relaxing.

Very clean and spacious room. Excellent location for exploring Lincoln and the staff were friendly and helpful. Nearby parking was reasonably priced for a 48 hour stay.

Premier Inn Lincoln City Center was an excellent stay for me and my partner. We came to lincoln for a one night stay as we had never been before, knowing how reliable Premier Inn is, we booked this one for the accessibility and extremely affordable options. We were greeted by a warm lady who advised us on places to visit and she helped us check in early (we paid the extra £15 to do so). Parking is directly next door to the hotel, but it is not affiliated with Premier Inn so you will have to pay. I think we paid £7.20 for 24hrs. The room was as you expect with any Premier Inn, you cannot fault them for the consistency in facilities and the incredible beds. We slept like babies all night! The hotel has its own restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. They also have a bar if you just want a bevvy. Also, there is a off license 2 minutes from the hotel where you can buy essentials and snacks if you forgot anything. The main hotspots of lincoln are roughly a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel so it is incredibly accessible for all. If you do visit Lincoln, I truly recommend this Premier Inn, you know ow what you're paying for and it makes your trip so much easier.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The beds were perfect. I loved the aircon, just what was needed during a heatwave! The room was perfect, the lighting, the gadgets etc. There was only one computer working for check in, the staff member who checked us in could have been a little friendlier, I’d rather use a computer especially as there was no conversation and felt belittled when I asked a question.
