Les Fletchers ont le courage de laisser tomber des pistes, mais ce n'est pas le cas pour moi. Les chambres sont à 150 m du château. Ce château n'était pas ouvert pendant mon séjour et a donné une impression un peu perdue. Le domaine est cependant entouré de magnifique nature où il est magnifique. J'avais une chambre spacieuse, confortablement équipée avec tout ce que vous pouvez souhaiter, jusqu'à un appareil Nespresso avec quelques capsules de café inclus. Il est un peu regrettable que, quand on a attribué la chambre aux clients, on trouve la chambre froide à l'entrée. En avril, je trouve la chambre un peu chauffée, et de préférence déjà à l'entrée. « Le matin, vous vous réveillez avec la clôture de nombreux oiseaux beaux qui viennent chercher leur nourriture juste devant votre fenêtre. Beaucoup de choses! Petit déjeuner, selon la bonne habitude Fletcher magnifique, varié et excellent pain et café. Un point mine, qui apparaît être partie de l'ensemble du groupe Fletcher, est que vous N'avez pas le droit de vous connecter avant 15u. Sous la mouche de la « chambre n'a pas encore été broyée » Vous ne pouvez pas entrer pour l'heure prédéfinie... même si il n'y a pas de voiture de poêle à 14 h dans les champs... je trouve ça déplaisant quand vous arrivez à 14 h 30, que vous devez attendre exactement une demi-heure pour entrer dans la chambre. Néanmoins, tout le monde doit être sorti à 11 h...compréhensible qui peut! Bien que ce Fletcher soit certainement recommandé, donc 4 balles.

Indifferent staff greet you on arrival. The room had a forgotten air about it. This room has a massive bathroom that was actually larger then the space the two single beds occupied in the main section. The small terrace was dirty with old dried bird excrement. The bathroom floor was sticky with what I hope was cleaning product residue ( I advise wearing shoes in the shower ). The shower head was clogged and only had minimal function. The towels were threadbare and there were none of the usual extras I would expect to see at this price point- no shower cap, lotion or indeed decent shampoo. The bed headboard was made of fake leather that has been worn through and not repaired / replaced. Plastic “glasses” and paper cups are supplied in the room for minimal deference to the needs of the guests however on request from the restaurant I got two real glasses to use. Cleanliness does not seem to be a theme at this hotel. The restaurant payment system did not integrate to the main hotel payment system which was an inconvenience and despite being quite expensive my hamburger would have been better used to repair the roads outside. I’d advise booking in the restaurant as despite being 70% unoccupied - it was “full” according to the staff. Breakfast brought a new set of terrors - the scrambled egg was burned brown and seemed to made from something other than real eggs. The boiled eggs were dark green inside and tasteless. I finally opted for a stale Picasso inspired croissant and coffee. I would happily recommend this to my enemies. I wonder if any directors of this company have ever stepped inside this hotel unannounced and experienced what they expect their customers to. The only reason it got two stars is that it’s a nice location and the WiFi was free and worked.

Mon expérience à Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Le Lac Féerse était absolument fantastique. La position idyllique à l'eau a assuré une vue respirante et un climat calme. Les chambres étaient modernes, bien équipées et très confortables. Le personnel a dépassé les attentes avec leur amitié et un excellent service. L'expérience culinaire du restaurant était un point de pointe, avec des plats agréables qui s'adaptaient parfaitement à l'atmosphère de l'hôtel.

Room was as I had anticipated from the reviews and photos that it was very dated with faded carpet etc but clean and a very big family room with the two kids single beds up a very steep set of wooden stairs in the room (so steep that I actually had my youngest sleep downstairs and I slept upstairs as I was concerned that if he woke in the night for the toilet which was downstairs he might fall down them). The room was very warm so windows open was a must. The noise from the bar outside the room finished at around 12:30am and then young people sat shouting and drinking in the square outside the room until about 3am. Not great for a family room. Whilst I know this wasn’t the hotels fault, when I told staff at checkout about this their reply was ‘yes it’s always like that, bad isn’t it.’ I did say that had I know the family room looked over a noisy square where people congregated at night I wouldn’t have booked it and they should probably tell people this, the staff said thank you. Also there is a window next to the two childrens beds in the upstairs part of the family room that doesn’t have a curtain on it so whilst the main windows do have good curtains, if your children wake up to light there is a lot coming in that room in the morning. A shame as you’d have thought that was an easy fix for the hotel so why they’ve not done it I don’t know. Lovely town, hotel dated but nice but just not much sleep on a Friday night after a long day travelling from the Uk with children.
