A little dated, but clean and well kept, and extremely peaceful! There are a few negatives - the kitchen in the room we stayed in was not well-equipped; a fan in the room would have helped - I know cottages aren't normally air conditioned but this was a motel room and although we were on the lake, there was absolutely no breeze at all. Obviously no one's fault (lol) but it was sweltering even at night so kind of hard to get to sleep; and the web site should be updated to advise that the restaurant is no more. We found out when we called but we had already booked the room and paid the deposit before we found out. Not insurmountable issues, though. Overall, the place was nice and the people are even more so. Diane and Andy are great hosts. Now that we have a better idea as to how to prepare for our stay, we would return. And we will recommend the place to friends.
