Welcome to Johnny's Chalet! As you enter this 3 bedroom, 3 bath home, you’ll be welcomed by the massive windows showing direct views of the Smoky Mountains. Not only is this space breathtaking, but its location is unbeatable! You are only: 10 mins from downtown Gatlinburg 15 mins to the Great Smoky Mountains 10 mins to Ober Gatlinburg 20 mins to Pigeon Forge and the Parkway 20 mins to Dollywood So come up the mountain to the beautiful towering window Chalet. The space We take the sanitation and cleaning procedures of our home very seriously. All linens are laundered with every new stay, and all commonly touched surfaces and objects are sanitized with every clean. The hot tub is drained, and every bath tub is treated. This home does not skimp on CHARM. It's completely renovated. As you walk in you're greeted with the great room with living room with hanging chair, fully equipped kitchen, and the dining area, all with gorgeous views of the Smoky Mountains. If you want to "work from home," we've got you covered there too with our high-speed 200 mbps internet. Or completely disconnect by having a coffee, cocktail or ice cold cerveza on one of our two decks. Sure, eating at Gatlinburg's best restaurants is fun. But sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal, right? That's why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner. Downstairs is a massive 1,000 sqft level with giant theater room packed with over 100 DVD's to choose from, and fluffy bean bags to lounge around in. Additionally we have a billiard table and game room area with puzzles, board games and cards. Downstairs also has a laundry room and bathroom to make sure you never miss a shot on the billiards table. Out on the deck is the secluded hot tub to soak in on those cool nights. There's also a brand new pull out couch. Other things to note Coming up the mountain from Gatlinburg, the road is windy, so make sure to drive slow and safe. The views on the road are amazing but make sure to find a pull out area if you want to take pictures. Access to the home is easy, there's parking for two cars directly in the driveway and off road parking for additional cars. Please keep in mind that we run on septic. So please do not flush ANYTHING that's not toilet paper. In an effort to secure the premises, we've installed a Ring floodlight at the front of the home. The neighborhood is very safe, but this helps us keep an eye on the property :) Occasionally, you may see Mama Bear and her cubs. While they are adorable, please do not touch or go near them. And while they are so cute and look hungry, don't feed them, or leave any food or trash in your car. Again, DO NOT LEAVE FOOD IN YOUR CAR OR THEY COULD BREAK IN. But if you give Ms. Bearenstein and her kids some time, they will migrate off the land :) Cell service is great at the cabin and most of the drive up, but just FYI in e smoky's and around Gatlinburg you never know how good it's going to be so it is HIGHLY advisable that you download an Offline Map of the Gatlinburg area on your Google Maps app. Here's how you do it: 1) Open Google Maps and search Gatlinburg. 2) Tap the word "Gatlinburg" on the bottom of the screen and this will expand the bottom half of the screen. 3) On the top right, you will see three dots. Tap this button and select "Download offline map." 4) Zoom out to download the entire Gatlinburg region.
