Shanghai Mars Island Leisure Resort

Great place for a Shanghai short trip. The pool was great! Good breakfast! We had nice and chilled time there. Speaking Chinese helps. Many small restaurants around that you can order from Elema. 👌😎

The cleanliness of the room was certainly a problem. All higher surfaces had visible dust laying around and many places (curtains, floors, seats) had various stains. The pool was also quite dirty with lots of bugs and various leaves and dirt in it. The bed and sheets on the over hand, were fresh and clean. The location was ok for Disney, thanks to the shuttle service, however for anything else the location is useless. What made up for our stay was one very helpful receptionist, who was very supportive and prepared to help us in various ways. The ameneties were acceptable, but as said the pool was not inviting even if we did swim for a little while. Like many of the other reviews have said, the photos are in the ad are very very generous. Most likely taken when it was brand new and with wide angle lenses. Expect. To stay in significantly smaller and greyer rooms. The outside of all buildings is also not as white as in the photos. We agree with the other reviews that the appearance of the photos is misleading.

Homestay very clean and front dest staff very friendly .

It’s a great destination for the family, featured landscapes, convenience to the Disney Land and Wild Life Zoo. The services are fabulous. We experienced heavy rain and storm during our stay, however, the staffs here are our sunshine. Thank you.

We truly loved this hotel!!!!!! The pool is big and gives you a good chance to cool off after a busy, tiring Disney day, but also you can choose the room with private pool that has a beautiful view of nature and sunset 💖Bed was like sleeping in a cloud, everything felt comfortable and most importantly super clean!, hotel is full of cute little spots here and there and it feels magical. I would go back again many more times. AMAZING 🤩😍
