Shanghai Qingshanwan E-sports Hotel

I was a bit shocked, since it didn’t cost 2$ but 10. Maybe just don’t book it as a foreigner. I have to say the staff was really friendly. Offered me to show me the room and then still cancel the booking if I don’t like it. And I arrived at 11 pm. Everything is full of smoke, every room and every clothes you have will be soaked. The first room they showed me a guy laying naked in the bed just blowed relaxed the cigarette smoke in our faces (infront of the “no smoking” sign). I said I want another room. They gave me an so far empty room for 4. Still smelling as somebody had smoked there right before. The beds, the equipment … if you want to see as half-homeless, video game addicted people live in Shanghai, then go there! For my foreign passport they took maybe half an hour to register, various calls. Said it’s the first foreigner for him.
