Avis : Khimtsang Hotel

L'hôtel a des caractéristiques typiquement tibétaines, la réception est très agréable et il y a un Akita. Le petit-déjeuner est également très copieux, avec des plats chinois et occidentaux. Je ne m'attendais pas à une telle surprise. Les toilettes sont un peu petites, mais dans l'ensemble, je les recommande.

Je recommande vivement ce B&B ! Il est très facile à trouver, en plein cœur de la vieille ville de Dukezong. Il est très pratique pour se déplacer. Un parking gratuit est disponible devant l'entrée. Le couloir du hall est également très beau. Vous pouvez prendre des photos à tout moment. Le propriétaire du B&B possède un Akita nommé Mantou, très mignon et sage ! Il était également très enthousiaste à l'idée de nous aider à transporter nos bagages et de nous recommander des activités délicieuses et amusantes à faire dans les environs ! La chambre est également très agréable, propre et bien rangée, très grande et chauffée. Il n'y fera pas froid la nuit. C'est un excellent B&B. J'y séjournerai lors de mon prochain séjour.

Très satisfait de mon séjour, la chambre est propre et bien rangée ! Les sanitaires sont également excellents, le hall est spacieux et il y a un salon de thé pour se détendre. L'environnement est agréable, le patron et le personnel de la réception sont très enthousiastes et le service est impeccable. Le petit-déjeuner est varié et offre tout le nécessaire. Ce sera mon premier choix pour mes prochains voyages.

La chambre est grande, la literie est propre et la couette est très confortable. Le seul inconvénient est que la salle de bain est un peu bondée et qu'il n'y a pas de place pour suspendre les vêtements.

Le patron est très gentil et enthousiaste. L'hôtel est situé dans la ville antique. La chambre est très grande et a un style tibétain. Elle est propre et très agréable.

Le design de cet hôtel est fantastique et très digne d'une photo. Les chambres sont chaleureuses et spacieuses, nous avons eu incroyablement chaud malgré les froides nuits d'hiver que nous avons eues là-bas. Eau chaude facilement disponible et bonne pression d'eau de douche. Les propriétaires de l'hôtel étaient charmants et accueillants, ainsi que leur chien mantou ! L'emplacement de cet hôtel n'est pas dans la vieille ville mais à seulement 10 minutes à pied, nous n'avons eu aucun problème car les transports étaient disponibles. Le petit déjeuner était simple mais suffisant - ils avaient du café fraîchement moulu, ce qui était fantastique.

The hotel is beautiful, clean, and beds are super comfortable. The hotel is close to all interesting sites. Right at the entrance of the old town so walking distance to shopping, night life, restaurants, the prayer mill and temples, and easy access to the monasteries. The service at this hotel is amazing. The owner is always available to help. They suggested changes to our trip and helped us book trains, drivers at best price, and they suggested the best restaurants for what we wanted. We strongly recommend this amazing hotel.

Loved the design of the hotel, tried really well to adapt to the location being in the Tibet region. A lovely dog handing around, 'mantao' is definitely friendly and a gem. Reckon is a family run hotel, so it is relatively friendly. Can get quite cold, without the heater. The floor is heated, you can request an electric blanket so that's a great plus

Really spacious, clean and tastefully decorated hotel. We loved the hospitality from the hotel staff and the hotel guard dog mantou. The hotel staff 陈哥 and his wife were able to help us prebook the things we needed and even got us really good seats for a local ******* performance at zha ya. They are super friendly and really made us felt at home. The location of the hotel is also very convenient. Just a few minutes walk from the old town while still accessible by car (which is super helpful if you have got bulky luggages). Highly recommend!!

Very tastefully designed hotel, artistic, neat, and very clean room and common areas. There is a book bar for avid readers (mostly Chinese books). Owners are very helpful and hospitable. Bed is very comfortable, with 2 different pillows (usual fluffy pillow and wheatbuck pillow) catering for different needs. Floor heating is available. Although there’s no air conditioner / heating system, the warming light in front of the bathroom and toilet are good enough to keep warm during summer (we came here in June). Temperature is comfortable by just opening window throughout the night, covered with thick duvet. Breakfast is simple but delicious.

They went above and beyond to make sure we arrived safely at the hotel. On arrival we were greeted warmly, with a ******* scarf and our luggage was carried to our room for us. The staff were consistently friendly and often checked that we were comfortable. The room itself was spacious with a large bed and TV. It also felt very clean. The only detractors from the room were the odd light switch placement, a less than ideal amount of room for the toilet (when sitting it was more comfortable to leave the door open), and a showerhead which was not well attached to the wall (this was rectified quickly after we told the staff). Overall these minor problems did not take away from the overall very pleasant experience we had here. There was also a cute dog, mantou, who guarded the entrance all day (asleep).

Hotel Khimtsang mixes traditional and modern designs in a minimalist style. The room has floor heatings, bed is firm and comfortable with warm fluffy duvets, shower is hot and strong with heating lights for the cold weather. But what truly makes this hotel special is the people. The hotel owners and staff all go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. They have been extremely hospitable and kind to me as a solo traveller. I felt very welcomed at Hotel Khimstang as they took extra care to ensure I was well adjusted. This will definitely be my hotel of choice if I came back to Shangri-La again.

The guesthouse owners were very nice, sharing good trip info and their entrepreneurship story as well as treating me couples of good tea and homemade pastries. Walk in the this guesthouse, you will see the stylish ******* interior design from each corner of this house and then experience how owners hope their guests to feel comfortable as same as staying at their homes. The room is absolutely clean with comfortable mattress and good facilities. Will definitely come back again. :)

I recently stayed at this delightful accommodation and had an absolutely wonderful experience. One of the highlights of my stay was meeting their adorable dog, Mantou, who added a charming touch to the overall ambiance. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm hospitality was evident. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, even preparing a soothing ginger and lemongrass tea upon my arrival to help me acclimate to the altitude. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated. The interior of the accommodation is both beautiful and unique, surpassing my expectations. The rooms were even more impressive in person than in the photos, showcasing an attention to detail that truly enhanced my stay. Overall, the atmosphere was cosy and peaceful, making it the perfect retreat. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene and welcoming getaway.
