Stayed here 3 nights, wish we could stay longer. The hotel is like a retreat. Nice courtyard, feel relaxed once you step through the front door. Staff are very nice, including the cat Fu Gui😄. The room has modern decor and facilities. The buffet breakfast has all sorts of delicious food.
Shaoxing and surrounds actually has a lot to see. It’s a great idea to stay a few days, take your time to explore and relax in Dongyueli. I would very much like to come back.

Shaoxing is so undervalued in the Jiannan area. If you can tolerate the scent of stinky tofu, you would enjoy the leisure time at Shaoxing.
This holiday inn located in the old town area is by the side of water channel within 2min of walks to the stone streets. Perfect location for citywalkers.
Their friendly staffs, Dongzhi, Qiufen and Jingzhe will help you to pick up your luggage and communicate with you through WeChat (the Chinese version of WhatsApp).
We will come back to this place in the future.
BTW. Their cat, namely Rich, is friendly and lovely too. Purring and squeezing eyes to travelers is her special talent! 🥰

The location of the hotel is excellent, with a beautiful view of the river from the lobby. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We called the hotel before our arrival, as it is located at the end of an alley. They offer a buggy service to pick guests up and take them to the hotel. Walking down the alley with luggage can be quite challenging due to the uneven road surface.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The location of the hotel is just beside the river where local residents’ traditional houses were built along it. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, the stay was very enjoyable. Li Ayi (李阿姨）and Bian Ayi （边阿姨）at the Kitchen’s service is especially commendable.

The hotel is nicely located, close to the pedestrian street and all other attractions. Very good breakfast for both Chinese and Westerners. As we have been here for the Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel organized also preparation of the rice dumplings. Every room was also equipped with a Nespresso coffe machine. They gave us a nice welcome fruit tray on first day and another gift when we left. The staff has been very kind and helpful also with our luggage.
