Unbelievably awesome! Location, views, architecture, and interior decorations were perfect and top notch! Theo, Jess, Scott, and Erin rock! Our reserved room upon check in supposedly was not up to their standards and ready for us to check in upon arrival, so they upgraded us to Penthouse 1 with no change in price! Our Penthouse 1 had a full beautiful kitchen. We ate out the first night at Downrigger’s which was amazing and only steps from the Island Inn, but ordered small takeout from them the second night and ate that along with our heated up leftovers in our beautiful room and watched Free Wiley! Very walkable except if you want to catch a Maya’s Legacy Excursion in Snug Harbor. But was able to rent a cool car, a convertible Smart car, from M&W car rentals that was walking distance from the hotel the morning of our excursion, stop by King’s Market for water and nibbles for to have on the boat. King’s Marker is also close to the Island Inn. And then we drove to Snug Harbor and made our departure time of 1000. After the amazing excursion with Maya’s, we had a reserved parking spot in the Island Inn’s garage for the night, We WILL be back! Thank you Island Inn for an awesome and relaxing first visit to Friday Harbor and the San Juan Islands!

This was truly an amazing property—we will never be able to stay in a traditional motel again! It was a stunning location, it was beautifully furnished, quiet, had amazing views…LOVED it!! The kitchen had everything you need. There was even a washer and dryer, which was very helpful since we travelled with our children. The staff was also amazing!

We had the best experience we could’ve hoped for here. The location cannot be beat and made it super easy to walk onto the ferry. The hosts were accessible and thoughtful. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We loved the room and all the amenities offered. We’ll be back!

I had the worst check-in experience at Island Inn. Lauren was unprofessional and seemed completely uninterested in providing any kind of customer service. Not only was she unhelpful during check-in, but when I requested my room to be serviced over the weekend, her response was horrible. The lack of professionalism and care was truly disappointing. I expected much better service, especially for the price. I won’t be returning.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was filled with modern conveniences and well stocked with extras including morning coffee, yogurt, granola and orange juice. It's conveniently located and within walking distance to all of downtown Friday Harbor.

We stayed at The Island Inn as part of a celebration for three milestone birthdays, with a group of 14 staying in various rooms at the inn. We so enjoyed our stay - the staff was so accommodating, and every room was perfect. We especially appreciated that several rooms had great gathering spaces (including a fab rooftop!) and we could enjoy the inn's convenient location - close to the ferry and in walking distance to stores, restaurants and more. All in all, a great experience.

This place was beautiful! We stayed in penthouse 2 and the rooms were extremely clean, stylish and had great views. This penthouse would be perfect for two couples or a family of up to 6! We loved the rooftop deck and spent a lot of time up there. We will most definitely be coming back!

I enjoy high-end, boutique hotel experiences and tend not to go for apartments because they are often less nice than hotels. The Island Inn at 123 West is the exception. It is pristinely clean, and everything is in excellent condition. The location is perfect. A few steps from the pier to restaurants, shops, seaplane pickup/dropoff, and ferry. It has everything we needed for cooking. The grocery store is a short walk away. The views from every room in the unit are incredible. The only negative is the street can be noisy in the morning as it's pretty busy with the ferry and restaurant supply deliveries. Reserve a room a little further back for a quieter room, but you lose the very front view.

Absolutely amazing. Great layout for several friends or a couple of couples. Great deck. Wonderfully stocked with very nice things. Modern yet cozy. Just a few blocks from the ferry dock. We cannot recommend this place enough. We will be back!!!
