The Cooper's Inn

Another fun stay at the Cooper's Inn, a real gem! Amanda is an amazing host. Breakfasts delicious. The beds very comfy. The room decor a mix of modern, with period pieces fitting the inn's history. Everything emaculate and in working order. We'll be back!

The Cooper's Inn was everything promised and more. We were coming off the CAT Ferry and arriving late; Amanda could not have been more accommodating as we met her upon our arrival around 9:30pm. And when learning we had to depart by 8 the following morning, she cheerfully told us she was happy to have breakfast ready for 7am. The rooms were spotless, replete with everything from wine glasses to a fridge to a television. The spaces for gathering were intimate and cozy. The food was delicious and made to order; there were breakfast offerings for all. And the best was Amanda. She is an intelligent, confident, industrious, kind, and engaging individual. We wish her and The Cooper's Inn every success in the world... it is well deserved!!!!

A lovely classic Nova Scotia seaside B&B in the most picturesque sectionofShelburne. And Amanda is the perfect host. Rooms are large, beautifully furnished to match the period setting. 3 choices at breakfast started each day in fine fashion. We certainly will return

From start to finish, The Cooper’s Inn was exceptional. Amanda was beyond accommodating and responsive, giving us helpful guidance and offering us an easy self check-in option. The property was so lovely and well-decorated, and the room and the bed were extremely comfortable! Breakfast is included the next day, and they made sure to inquire about any dietary needs we had in advance. As a vegetarian, they easily offered a delicious breakfast, and Dawn was so sweet and thoughtful! We loved our stay, and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shelburne!

We stayed at the Cooper’s Inn for two nights, and it was wonderful. Amanda, the host, is delightful and so helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and she even got up early to make us egg sandwiches for the road when we had to leave before 7:00 to catch the ferry back to the US. We stayed in the 3rd floor suite, and it was worth the trip up the stairs! It’s all very well decorated with comfy beds, and a gorgeous, deep tub is set in a bay window looking out to the harbor - breathtaking and so relaxing. When the weather allows, Amanda hosts a wine hour in her gorgeous garden, and we really enjoyed talking to another couple and meeting Amanda’s sweet pup, too. We highly recommend this inn - it is a special place!

Amanda was a very warm and welcoming host. On arrival she invited us to join her and fellow guests for a glass of wine in the garden at 5pm. The Gracie room was large, comfortable and well-furnished with a small bathroom. We had a choice of 3 breakfast dishes, freshly- cooked to order. Private parking was available and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Overall a really good B&B to which we would happily return.
