« Spending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time. The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful. The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring. Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city. »

« L'enfant était obsédé par Big Fish et Begonia, alors je l'ai emmené voir les Tulou. Après les avoir comparés, nous avons choisi celui-ci car nous roulions et avions besoin d'un parking pratique. C'était le meilleur B&B de la région pittoresque, et il était très pratique de se garer devant la porte. Il s'agit d'une maison d'hôtes aménagée dans un ancien bâtiment en terre. Elle est très originale et ne propose que peu de chambres. Le rapport qualité-prix est excellent hors saison, et la réceptionniste a même proposé une chambre de catégorie supérieure. Il y a de la moquette dans la chambre. Il faisait un peu froid le premier jour, alors j'ai allumé la climatisation pour me sentir plus à l'aise. Lors de votre séjour à l'hôtel, vous recevrez un billet pour le site pittoresque, qui comprend également l'observation gratuite des spectacles folkloriques Hakka en soirée. L'inconvénient est que l'eau chaude sort trop lentement. Il faut beaucoup de temps pour ouvrir le robinet et l'eau devient chaude. J'espère que cela pourra être amélioré. Un autre problème est que le réseau est défaillant et que la télévision connectée est inutilisable. Si le problème pouvait être résolu, les enfants seraient plus heureux. »
