Vieil hôtel minable. Le personnel est sympathique, mais essayer de vendre diverses visites avec cette « réduction juste pour vous » avait une ambiance désagréable, comme lors d'une présentation en multipropriété. Le « Où vas-tu » ou « Que fais-tu ? ou «Bienvenue à l'hôtel», c'était encore et encore effrayant et énervant. La collation de bienvenue était agréable, mais aussi devoir endurer de longues répétitions pour faire une tournée, un argumentaire de vente sous pression et une diatribe douloureu*****t inconfortable sur des informations pour la plupart inutiles, c'était trop.

Dans l’ensemble, notre expérience a été plutôt bonne à Siem Reap. L’hôtel est situé dans une petite ruelle juste à côté d’un autre hôtel (ce n’est pas louche ou quoi que ce soit) et juste à côté d’une école primaire. A notre arrivée, ils nous ont offert des boissons gratuites et une collation ! C'était délicieux. Le personnel était incroyablement sympathique et discute toujours quand ils vous voient venir ou partir. Ils nous ont donné une chambre du côté opposé à l'école pour que ce ne soit pas bruyant. Malheureu*****t de ce côté là on entend plutôt les clubs et les karaokés ! Ce n’était pas bruyant du tout, mais les dormeurs sensibles (comme mon mari) peuvent avoir du mal avec ça. Ils ont des vélos gratuits que vous pouvez emprunter pour la journée ! Il y a aussi du café et du thé gratuits dans le hall. Ils font un excellent travail en matière de service client pour compenser l'emplacement malheureux, ce qui, à mon avis, est payant. La chambre est confortable et spacieuse. La salle de bain a un sol en pierre et la douche est intéressante car il s'agit simplement d'une plate-forme surélevée, sans rebord ni rien pour empêcher l'eau de se répandre. Je pense que la douche est sur une petite pente, donc l'eau allait toujours vers le drain, mais se jeter et éclabousser avec les pieds sur le sol de la salle de bain est toujours une possibilité.

I 100% recommend Golden Butterfly Villa. My mom and i stayed there for 3 nights and i must say the room was clean, tidy but a little bit small. 5min walk from beer street. The personal was so so so nice and helpful. 10 out of 10

The good things were the pool, outside area, food, drinks, service and rhe fact it was cheap. Great sociable place to meet other interesting people. The bad things were the beds were not comfy and pillows lumpy and old, the shower didn't stay hot for long in the 4 bed dorm, just enough for one person to have a hot shower, saw cockroaches in the bathroom of dorm, and with no door between bathroom sink area and room - it was right there. Maybe the private rooms are better.

To top it off, the price was extremely reasonable considering the quality of accommodation, service, and amenities provided. Gold Butterfly Villa truly went above and beyond in delivering an unrivaled hospitality experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. In summary, our stay at Golden Butterfly Villa was exceptional in every aspect. The hotel here is in the perfect spot being a short walk away from the markets, Pub Street, restaurants etc. The rooms were very clean and comfortable but a little aged. There is no pool here to cool off in but they have an agreement with another hotel that you can use their pool if you desire. The staff were absolutely beautiful and couldn't do enough to make your stay fun, easy and memorable!

Hotel was in a good location, and staff were friendly. There is a school outside that is very loud, they do warn you though.

Good location, near night markets, pub streets and many restuarants, As the place just reopemed, staffs are young and inexperienced but always smile and friendly, no tv connected at room and water for shower is not hot, but it is acceptable for me with the price paid, i extend my stay for one more night

The location is central, just a few blocks from Pubs Street and other main city attractions. The rooms are huge and well equipped. There’s an elementary school in front of the hotel, so the noise might be a bit annoying in the early morning but other than that my stay was very good and I would come back for a longer stay.

Don't go here unless you like to hear a very loud school yard full of kids every morning. The staff are young and friendly and try to accommodate you. I was even hooked up to a hotel messaging service on my phone.
