Rocket Inn

Excellent hotel with comfortable beds and spacious living space. The kitchenette is a nice bonus for morning coffee and provides a fridge and microwave to cover basic needs. Warm hosts who have created a unique and personable place to stay while visiting Truth or Consequences. Highly recommened.

The Rocket Inn is a lovely vintage motel. Built in 1947, the rooms are small however very clean and very comfortable. Loved the Rocket motif in the room, especially the shower curtain! The heating/cooling unit is very quiet and the mattresses are extremely comfortable, which are important to me. The owner is very friendly, giving us an overview the room and amentities. We will return in the future.

We had driven from the Copper Canyon region deep in Mexico and were exhausted. We chose Rocket Inn because of the reviews and were reluctant to stay anywhere in T or C due to prior bad experiences. We drove up to a small and old building but quickly found out it was locally owned and completely renovated. This is a boutique hotel and has a certain retro vibe to it. Everyone was super nice and efficient and the room was immaculate. I feel like I'm part of an informed minority that knows about this place. We go through here 6-8 times a year and will plan our trips in the future to stay here.

The Rocket Inn is truly a hidden gem. From beginning to end our experience was fabulous. We stayed here on a road trip around NM and our stay at the Rocket Inn was enough to want to come back again someday. We were greeted at the front desk by the friendliest woman, I regret not asking her name as she was incredibly kind and helpful during our entire stay. She showed us to our room which was perfectly clean and comfortable. She showed us how to use the AC unit as things were warming up in May and we were grateful to have it! She told us a bit about the town and how we came at an exciting time due to a major motion picture being filmed in the town! By the time we were leaving the following morning, we were able to chat with her and the owner (who were in the middle of cleaning the rooms, I find it admirable to see the owner cleaning the rooms herself!). Our stay at Rocket Inn was absolutely lovely and memorable for years to come. Thank you so much!

Charming motel with a kitchen stocked better than most Airbnbs. Comfortable bed and quiet. The owner was super helpful and friendly—even walking us to our room to show us how everything worked! We wished we could have stayed more than one night!

The room was clean and fairly comfortable. Had to sit in chairs that looked like office chairs to watch TV. Small bathroom with a decent shower. Very small vanity so limited space for toiletries. Small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, and sink. Kitchen has a small table for eating. Convenient, assigned parking near your room. If you’re a good walker, it’s reasonably close to the business district and a very nice park on the Rio Grande.
