Great view of lions rock from the rooftop terrace and from of the more expensive rooms ,check in check out very quick and easy ,booked by phone no problems excellent communication via WatsApp . Room large and comfortable good size bed air conditioning and fan . Great view of rock from the terrace means you can take pictures as the light changes without moving ,bathroom ok plenty of towels and products . Staff very helpful with good advice on activities in the area and on keeping safe. Lots of good restaurants within walking distance a torch is a good idea when coming back at night the lane down to the lodge is quite dark Things to note there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and little in the way of hanging space for clothes if staying more than a couple of days Great value with a very good location would recommend

Basic room that is in a ideal area for exploring sigiriya and the surrounding area. The most amazing view of Sigiriya Rock Fort from the roof terrace. Lakmini is a wonderful host who can arrange transport and activities for you if you wish and nothing was too much trouble for him. Breakfast was lovely and made even more special with the view.

My partner and I stumbled across this place after another hotel let us down last minute - in hindsight, I am glad they did! Luckily, no pre booking was needed and we were offered a fantastic room at a great price. Unlike some of our other stays, this place was spotless. It smelt incredible and you could tell that it had been thoroughly cleaned. The room which we were given had a great view of Sigiriya Rock, as did the rooftop terrace. The host, and his family, could not do any more for you. We mentioned that we wanted some beers, and they were more than happy to go out and get some for us. We spoke with the owner's dad, Chandy, frequently and what a lovely man he was! We visited his shop daily to pick up bits that we needed and he kindly drove us to Sigirya Rock. He also was able to advise us on the best safari tour to go on. My partner and I were considering Minneriya or Kaudulla; however, after speaking to Chandy, he advised us that they can charge quite a lot and you can get a similar experience at another park. He organised the trip to Eco Park for us and we saw an abundance of elephants - exactly what we had wanted - for half the price! He even came along too and we were so pleased to have him there with us! We have and would continue to recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Sigiriya! Well worth the visit.
