Avis : Pod Village by Independence Hotels

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel. La piscine avec vue sur la mer est tout simplement incroyable ! Le buffet du petit déjeuner était très copieux avec une grande variété de plats délicieux. L'hôtel dispose d'une plage privée avec transats et serviettes de plage qui sont gratuits pour les clients de l'hôtel. Il possède également son propre restaurant avec la plus belle vue sur la mer au coucher du soleil de Sihanoukville. Il y a aussi une route de promenade très romantique le long de la plage menant à la piscine. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très serviable et sympathique. Ils nous ont offert un surclassement dans une chambre plus grande pour un prix très raisonnable et nous ont aidés avec beaucoup d'enthousiasme pour toutes les exigences que nous avions. Un grand merci à l'équipe de l'hôtel, vous êtes les meilleurs !! Bonne année 2025 !

L'un des meilleurs hôtels que j'ai jamais visité en Asie.  Le personnel est incroyable et serviable - un merci spécial à Rida pour nous avoir aidés. Je ne peux pas exprimer avec des mots à quel point le buffet du petit-déjeuner est excellent. Vues fantastiques, il est sur la plage, excellents cocktails.  Je le recommande vivement à tous ceux qui voyagent à Sihanoukville. Vous DEVEZ y passer une nuit et vivre cette expérience.

The cottages are quite dark & little, especially the bathroom where there is unfortunately no space to put cosmetics or similar. To get to the cottages you need to ride with the golf cart for about 3-4 min which is easy to be arranged by the reception desk but inconvenient if you want to be independent. Walking is not an option as there are many monkeys sitting & jumping around the way. The breakfast was very good with plenty of options for both Western & Asian taste.

Absolutely loved it! It felt like sleeping in your own nest. Super clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Just a short walk away from the beach!

Staying in the Pods is definitely an experience. The property is huge. There are lots of amenities and restaurants to enjoy. The food is GOOD. We are at the Sunset restaurant on the beach and room service. Very good. Breakfast was ok. We had a great time on the beach. We were there all day. There’s towels and you can order drinks. The public beach is beside the property. The only damper on our experience was several (3 separate) Chinese guests (we know bc we live in China and speak Chinese) chose to start recording us and staring at the infinity pool. It almost ruined a very enjoyable day on the beach. Overall it was a good stay, and I would recommend that property. Other guests should be more considerate because it’s rude.

All great, good service, good food, the only thing there’s no small table and chairs in front of the hut. So basically you can’t sit outside. Also a bit dark in the bathroom, but overall great experience. Definitely worth it.

The hotel is nice. With wonderful nature around, monkeys running in the hotel area, nice rooms, although a little small with little space for stuff. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very polite and helpful. I liked that you could use any service around the hotel, like restaurant, spa and they will add the price to the bill and you pay during checkout. The ocean pool looked nice and clean. The beach itself wasn't very clean and it smelled a little sometimes.

Amazing atmosphere and there is a huge area belonging to the hotel (including restaurants, bars, beach and outdoor pools)

It was a peaceful stay, breakfast was good, gym has the beautiful view😍 we have arrived around 7am and they let us check in at 9. However, the hotel is located far from walking distance, you definitely need a transport. If you ask reception to help you order a tuktuk to the city center, they charge you 5$, when normal price is 2$. Same with the Laundry, everywhere is 1-2$/kg, and they charge 1-2$ per cloth.
