Location is perfect. Quiet sleep. Staff friendly. Price for money. Convenient foods at Albert Centre and Bugis Junction Mall. Easy pick up and drop off by taxis or Grab.

The room is clean and the place near bugis street and temple.

Very convenient location near bugis shopping area, but that’s all there is to it.

I like how there's a fan and aircon in the room. Switch off the aircon and on the fan, it really gives us like home vibes.

Une fois que vous entrez dans la pièce, vous êtes frappé par une odeur très désagréable et humide de vieux meubles et de champignons. La moquette est sombre et sale - on dirait qu'elle n'a pas été lavée depuis les années 50. Le ventilateur de plafond est difficile à allumer et à éteindre. Il n'y a pas d'eau minérale, de chaussons et de réfrigérateur. Les serviettes sont fines et tachées. Les couvertures sont encore plus fines et les draps sont recouverts de punaises de lit. Il n'y a pas de séparation pour la douche, donc lorsque vous entrez dans la salle de bain, vous marchez instantanément sur le carrelage mouillé. C'est inconfortable, surtout si vous souhaitez simplement utiliser les toilettes ou le lavabo. L'ingénierie est également mauvaise. La porte de la salle de bain a une poignée à l'extérieur mais elle s'enfonce. De l'intérieur, il n'y a pas de poignée, vous devez donc tirer sur la serrure de la porte. La télé est vieille et la télécommande ne fonctionne pas. Lors de notre première nuit, les draps étaient encore mouillés comme s'ils n'étaient pas complètement lavés. Ils nous ont donné de nouvelles couvertures, mais la troisième nuit, ils ont arrêté de les installer sur nos lits (ils les ont simplement pliées et laissées sur les lits). De plus, la troisième nuit, vers 1 heure du matin, mon frère jure avoir vu le fantôme d'un vieil homme maigre portant une robe traditionnelle au bord de nos lits. L'hôtel se trouve à côté d'un temple, nous pensons donc qu'il pourrait s'agir du fantôme d'un des moines. Nous avons ensuite commencé à prier tous les soirs. La pièce a également un mauvais feng shui. Il y a un miroir face au pied du lit. Depuis, nous avons dû le recouvrir d’une serviette. Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais ici. Il vaut mieux dépenser quelques dollars de plus pour obtenir des équipements décents, une bonne hygiène et un hébergement sans fantômes.

Wow, what a disappointment. There's a sign outside that says "Feel like you're home, even when you're away." I find that really ironic and a bit terrifying. First the one positive - service was good upon check-in. Guy who checked us in was friendly. But that's where the positives end. The room was just filthy. Stains on the floor, stains on the walls, black mold on the ceiling, a toilet that never stopped leaking onto the bathroom floor, a lamp above a mirror what was ripped out of place with exposed wiring, an old TV that they just didn't bother to remove and just wound up all the cables and cords around the weird telescopic arm it was mounted to. Everyone talks about location and, sure, it's nicely located by some temples and the Bugis MRT/shopping malls. But c'mon, location isn't worth your dignity. The price, given this room, is an absolutely ridiculous ask. Had planned to stay for 4 nights and checked out after one. Found a bigger, cleaner place at half the cost. Lesson learned.

We found a place that is truly homey but in the buzzling place of the city. I recommend this for the backpackers and those who are on budget travel and who want to be accessible everything else. The hotel is near to transport which is the train and the bus stops. If you want food, Albert Center is just a stone’s throw away. As for the shopping – Bugis Center is few steps away just right up front. They have the simple amenities that you need if you are on a budget as well as a the friendly and accommodating staff. We actually came in early, but they have accommodated us to check-in earlier than the standard time. Everyday, they also make sure that our room is clean and that we have our daily coffee/tea. For me, I don’t think you can go wrong with this hotel especially if you are on a budget, would like to get a good night’s rest after a long day of walking, travelling and eating.
