Hotel is right across the street from MRT(metro) station. That is the main reason I book this hotel. Took MRT from airport to hotel (around 90 minutes), cost under 2.5 Singapore dollars for this ride, great price!.
It is a well kept hotel. A local shopping mall right mext to hotel. Many restaurants and coffee shops available, plus a supermarket in basement level. So food and snack are easy to get.
Only drew back is the location is not in Orchard road shopping district. It is one MRT shop away.

Rooms a little small and basic, but clean and well furnished. Breakfast had different food styles but maybe not much variety of options, and often quite busy.
Hotel itself a hub of activity, always seems busy. Swimming pool outdoors is a good size with loungers around. Bar on 2nd floor small but cozy atmosphere. Lounge with good selection and lovely staff.
Mall/market behind hotel. Very close access to Orchard Boulevard metro station, and a little walk down to the main Orchard street, with bars and restaurants there. Overall location good to get around.
Excellent staff, from the front desk down to the cleaning staff, all well trained, polite, friendly and helpful.

Had an enjoyable stay at Hotel Jen at Tanglin. The room was rather affordable being New Year’s Eve, the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was modern to say the least. Loads of options at the buffet for breakfast, definitely worth the additional $20 add-on to the room price.

Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We got a room with beautiful view of the pool and buildings in the surrounding. Service is good and amenities well provided. There is a new mrt station just across the hotel so it is very convenient to go around. Will stay again in future.

The room is spacious, the service is very good. The room is clean. It is very close to mrt station just one minute walk. The sound insulation is good, cannot hear any noise from outside road. I enjoy my stay very much and will definitely stay hear again when I visit singapore.

Not helpful and unfriendly receptionist
Several times stayed in this Hotel, this receptionist wasn’t helpful. One booking number for 2 rooms.
