Hôtels près de Sint Annaparochie Library, Sint-Annaparochie

Très bon hôtel et personnel très sympathique. Les chambres sont très confortables, les salles de bain sont top. Le buffet de petit-déjeuner est superbe. Pas forcément bien situé par rapport au centre ville, mais le reste fait un peu oublier ce point négatif.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum und man kann alles fußläufig erreichen. Die Infos zum Parken am Hotel in der Fußgängerzone wurden vorab super mitgeteilt. Das Personal war freundlich. Die Zimmerausstattung war sehr einfach und in die Jahre gekommen. Trotzdem war alles da was man braucht. Das Frühstück war auch einfach. Wenig Auswahl aber Toast, Aufschnitt, Obst und Joghurt war da. Wer einen tollen Citytrip machen möchte und keine Ansprüche an Ausstattung und Ambiente hat, kann hier für Holländische Verhältnisse eher günstig übernachten.

On the one hand, it’s very cool to be able to say we stayed in a palace. We could easily tell one of the larger meeting rooms had been a place to entertain many guests, maybe even a ballroom. The yard behind the hotel is lovely and inviting. The staff were helpful. The breakfast buffet was typical for European hotels, and we found the variety of Dutch breads, cheeses, and sprinkles a nice touch. The location in the center of town can’t be beat. Our bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Being able to open the windows was wonderful, since we like to sleep cold. They even provided a fan that we could use both to keep the room cool and give us some white noise On the other hand—someone needs to put a lot of money and love into this place. It is in desperate need of a major facelift. We stayed on the first floor and the carpeting in the hallway was terribly stained and worn—sometimes right through to the floor. While the carpeting in our room was a tiny bit better, it looked so bad, I didn’t want to walk barefoot on it. The walls in the hall and in our room desperately need to be painted. I wouldn’t even sit on the furniture upholstered in cloth in our room. Everything was saggy and worn. I was also put off by the door locking with a key that only worked part of the time. There was no safe in the room and because we only had an old-fashioned key, we carried everything of value with us wherever we went. For quite some time, I wondered if I just didn’t have an adventurous spirit and needed to remember that perhaps standards in other parts of the world are different from what I’m used to. And yet… While having to park 500 meters away was a pain, I completely understood that Leeuwarden wasn’t constructed to accommodate parking lots near hotels. That’s simply the hotel and town’s historic roots. Would I have liked plush towels? Yes. Not a dealbreaker. But I still can’t get past how many areas hadn’t had attention for so long and what amazing potential the hotel has if someone would put some loving care into it.

Bien hôtel, propre et propre. Chambres spacieuses, salle de bains super. Personnel aimable et utile. Nous avons réservé le petit déjeuner et c'était vraiment super! Seul le chemin à suivre était un peu étrange, tout comme un quartier résidentiel, alors que l'hôtel lui-même est sur une grande route continue.

C'est probablement le meilleur hôtel de notre road trip autour des Pays-Bas. Nous sommes arrivés en retard à cause d'un gps capricieux, mais le réceptionniste a été charmant, on nous a également attendu au restaurant pour notre dîner. Nous avions choisi une chambre famille sur photos, et quelle merveilleuse surprise que de découvrir que c'était en réalité une suite magnifique avec 4 pièces, un véritable appartement. Il y avait la parti adultes avec un lit queen size et une grande salle de bain, toilettes séparées. Puis après avoir passé la porte une chambre enfants avec 4 lits superposés, chaque enfant avait sa propre mini télé, un bonheur pour eux. Ils avaient aussi leur propre salle de bain avec 2 douches, 2 lavabos, 1 baignoire et leurs toilettes. La moquette est moelleux, il y a un balcon, pratique quand on est fumeur, plateau de courtoisie bien fourni, j'ai appelé pour avoir du lait frais on me l'a monté en chambre. Il y a un billard dans le hall de l'hôtel. Le restaurant est agréable, le service souriant, nous avons mangé correctement sans chichi, des burgers frites. Le petit-déjeuner est un régal avec les classique english & continental breakfasts mais pas que, on vous prépare des oeufs au plat sur demande, il y a des crêpes, pancakes, gaufres, toute sorte de jus de fruits et de fromage frais... le meilleur pdj de nos voyage. Rien à dire d'autre sinon que c'était un séjour 100% parfait.
