while visiting my wife's family in Rasi Salie we booked two nights in Sisaket at what was supposed to be the best hotel in the area. The room is clean and well appointed but the bed is too hard for myliking ( personal preference)The staff is friendly. The pool area is a treat (although you have to walk across the parking lot to get to it). we sat by the pool the first night and had a good time , good food and drinks while listening to local live music. Here's where it goes off the rails, after sightseeing the second day we return to the hotel looking forward to a refreshing swim and good meal and there is a mad party at the pool. We inquire at the front desk and are told the hotel is having a Chinese new years party, no pool access no kitchen and the party is raging outside our window at a volume to rival a Van Halen concert. The manager refused to speak to me on the matter and I was told I could go swimming after 6 pm if I wanted while this party is going on around me. in conclusion if you catch this hotel on a good day you will love it but they will not go out if their way to assist you. I won't be back
