Staying at Manos' place is pure pleasure...you can't see the sea from the window (at least from my window) but the view of the city in the distance and the atmospheric Greek houses scattered on the hill has its own unique atmosphere...a very quiet place...a guesthouse surrounded by trees.. ..7 minutes to the center...three minutes to the Sklavenitis market...rooms perfectly clean...daily change of towels and bed linen...room equipped with everything you need...air condition ..fan, electric kettle, small stove, plates, etc... A separate topic is the owner... Manos is the most positive Greek I have ever met... a very positive man... not intrusive... very helpful... he offers something to eat every day in the afternoon... he cooks very well... we liked it very much... his mother told us that he does it because he likes it... he likes cooking and he likes to please others... it's not an exclusive hotel... but it's places like this that make us like Greece .I'm sure I'll come back there again...and I can recommend this place to everyone.

Manos Studios and apartments are situated a short walk from the harbour in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The hospitality and friendliness of our host was outstanding. He surprised us many times with excellent Greek home cooked food and even a stunning birthday cake for Mark with Skopelos wine. If you like to stay in a shiny modern space then this is not for you. But if you want to experience true Greek hospitality and surroundings, this is the place. Excellent value for money and we would not hesitate to return. We had the pleasure to stay at Mano's apartments in Skopelos in September 2022. First, the apartment is very close to town, literally 5 min away from the port. Second, the rooms are super clean, very spacious, nicely decorated. Third, the apartments are super close to the bus stop to visit the beaches. The best part of the whole experience is Mr Manos, a lovely, kind and hospitable gentelman who takes really good care of his visitors. He met my mother and myself at the port once we arrived in the island and the same was for our return. Plus, he drove us to the hospital once, when we needed it. Mr Manos is a great cook and we had the privilege to taste his fried cheese pie, a local delicacy of Skopelos, stuffed peppers, omelette etc. Mr Manos is simply a great man and he made our visit in Skopelos simply wonderful, a memorable experience. We do recommend this accommodation and we will definitely come back! This accommodation is simply a MUST! Thank you for everything Manos.

Before making the reservation we had read the best comments about Manos' and Mrs Alexandra's hospitality but what we met exceeded our expectations by far. The friendliest host we have met in our travels. We had just arrived in the island and Manos picked us up and as soon as we arrived at the room he brought us Gemista (on the house of course).. one of the best Gemista we have ever tried. On our first morning there they offered us marvelous homemade traditional pies stuffed with goat cheese as breakfast. Manos even cared for the rainy whether and he provided us with raincoats! To put it in a nutshell you should definitely consider booking your accommodation there if you plan visiting Skopelos. It is very close to the city centre (15 min walk tops) and very VFM! We had a great time Manos and we hope to see you again!

Struttura immersa nel verde molto pulita e tranquilla. Appartamenti semplici ma dotati di tutto ciò che occorre in vacanza e puliti. Valore aggiunto è l'ospitalità di Manos sempre attento a non farti mancare niente. Ci ha davvero viziato offrendoci ottimi succhi e colazioni fatte in casa e regalandoci persino un souvenir al termine del soggiorno. Posizione perfetta; a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro, ma in mezzo alla tranquillità della campagna. Questo posso è senza dubbio il mio punto di riferimento; mi auguro per Manos sempre più fortuna e riscontro per i turisti sull'isola...anche se, sotto sotto, spero resti sempre così. Auguri per la mamma che non ho potuto conoscere e grazie di tutto.

Wer für zwei drei Tage eine Unterkunft auf Skopelos sucht ist bei Manos Appartments bestens aufgehoben, würde ich aber nicht empfehlen. Denn in zwei drei Tagen lernt man Skopelos nicht kennen – Skopelos hat weit mehr zu bieten als Ag. Ioannis sto Kastri – und erst recht nicht lernt er die unvergleichliche griechische Gastfreundschaft von Manos und seiner liebenswürdigen Mutter Alexandra kennen. Also: bleibt mindestens eine Woche, wandert auf Skopelos durch die einzigartige grüne Landschaft (von Kloster zu Kloster), nachmittags an einem der vielen tollen Strände baden und abends geht es in eine der vielen Tavernen – in der Saison gibt es da sogar Livemusik. Ich garantiere: nach mindestens einer Woche kommt Ihr von Skopelos, Manos und Alexandra nicht mehr los; Ihr reist ab, aber Eure Seele bleibt dort und zieht Euch immer und immer wieder dorthin zurück! Thomas und Michael If you are looking for accommodation on Skopelos for two or three days, Manos Apartments is the best place to stay, but I would not recommend it. Because you don't get to know Skopelos in two or three days – Skopelos has much more to offer than Ag. Ioannis sto Kastri - and even more so he does not get to know the incomparable Greek hospitality of Manos and his amiable mother Alexandra. So: stay at least a week, hike on Skopelos through the unique green landscape (from monastery to monastery), swim in the afternoon on one of the many great beaches and in the evening go to one of the many taverns – in the season there is even live music. I guarantee: after this week you will not get rid of Skopelos, Manos and Alexandra; you leave, but your soul stays there and withdraws there again and again! Thomas and Michael
