Dommage que la qualité de la chambre, des toilettes, des douches et des communs ne soient pas proportionnelle à la gentillesse et l'accueil des réceptionnistes. Malgré le fait que ça soit une auberge de jeunesse et donc qu'il faille accepter le fait de vivre en communauté, il nous a été compliqué pour ma compagne et moi de profiter de ce séjour tant notre chambre et surtout les douches étaient un stock de champignons et d'humidité. La propreté était-elle donc une option que nous avons oublié de cocher ?

The lady at the reception was absolutely unfriendly and rude. When I checked in, she behaved herself like she hates customers and she doesn't want to see the next customer at all. Very unfriendly personnel. I have never seen such unfriendly personnel in the hostels before. She didn't show me the facilities, didn't tell anything about wifi and bathrooms etc. Just briefly showed my bed and told me that I will be punished if I would try to change my bed (which I even didn't think about). So disrespectful. So finally next day I decided to move to another hostel.

Dreadful. Absolute health hazard, the showers have black mold, a type that grows in your lungs when inhaled, not to mention the MANY other issues. It's overall shady, the staff is mostly unfriendly and they assume you don't understand their language 😅(i'm not even gonna get started about this, they WILL talk s**t about you). My assumption is that it works as a cover for illegal immigrants posing as tourists. TO BE AVOIDED BY ALL TRAVELLERS!!

First the positive. It is located on a quiet, cobbled shady street near to the city centre. It appears to be run by 'volunteers', travellers passing through, who do their best to be helpful, but have no discretion to vary the owner's strict procedures. And it is cheap, good value for money. Each bunk has a light and a charging point. Cleanliness these days is good. Negative: There is no sign on the street to identify this as a hostel. The kitchen facilities are minimal, just a cooktop, kettle, drip coffee maker, and fridges. Not even a microwave oven. The showers are inadequate - too small a hot water tank combined with shower heads that waste water mean that the hot water can run out. I got one lukewarm and one hot shower. The bunks have no privacy curtains.

Do not mind the bad reviews i think. This place is one of the most reasonable hostels in Sofia. Location is great. Stuff is great. They are having movie nights. Kitchen is ok. Common room is ok. Beds and bathrooms are clean for this price. Only bad thing is that there are mosqitos in the rooms. This is a problem.

Unsafe, no cameras, only volunteers working here that don't do anything to help, cold, no outlets, unhygienic, and in general horrible conditions. It is better to sleep outside then in here. They only want to make money and don't care what happens in the hostel and it felt like I was staying with a pack of wolves.

I'll starts with the only good thing: cheap price. The place was dirty, dusty, moldy, loud and It's not even in the city center. The staff (volunteers) made one of us to read out loud the rules like we were at school. One of the rule was not to smoke or drink alcohol anywhere near the Hostel... So it's not the place for having fun, also the common area isn't very good. Everything felt kinda repulsive; paying the deposit by card and getting it back as local cash, paying rent + deposit for a towel, not having any kind of place for your stuff in the room and not having warm water unless you were the first one to shower in the morning. Just pay a bit more and go somewhere else.

This was a horrendous place we accidentally ended up in and immediately escaped the next day, on to another place in Sofia. EVERYTHING is dirty... Every surface, floor, even the walls. Splatters and stains on everything. The floor is wet of piss, so you leave a pee trail when you walk out. Showers disgusting. Plus, they have a CAMERA in the dormitory. And you have to walk through another room to get into yours. Weird weird weird.

The volunteers were amazing. Made my visit. Only thing I can criticise is the signage. The only signs on the doors are to direct you to the socialising balcony 😂 the first day it was a little wander to find the kitchen/bathrooms etc but besides that a really wonderful place and great location.
