90 km northwest from Helsinki, Lake Salkolanjärvi 300 m (length of 5 km, width 800 m), shallow, hard sand bottom, which is village's common beach with little use, no pier. Distance by car 0.8 km to common beach, rowing boat shared with another cottage. Access to the lake Salkolanjärvi requires crossing some roads.

Log cottage 2011, kitchen, living room with a sleeping "corner" with a double bed and sofa bed, small bedroom with double bed, dressing room, bathroom (shower), sauna with wood-heated stove.

Sleeping cabin in summer use as an alternative sleeping place.

Water in the tap contains iron, which might cause some smell into water. Owner brings drinking water.

A thickset log cabin in wide and bright meadow plot, owner's horse farm in the vicinity. There is fireplace / baking oven in the cottage. There is a swimming pond on the plot. It is in shared use with the neighbouring cottage.

Owner rents out movable 6 persons' hot tub. Price 200€/weekend, owner fills the hot tub up and delivers it to the cabin. Hot tub is rented among several cabins and availability must be checked in advance.

You can order a taxi service from the owner, if you want to come by bus. Bus stop 7 km from the cottage.
