The Postcard Hideaway, Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, Goa

A stunning location in the midst of beautiful forest at the foot of the Western Gats. We felt cocooned in the beautiful surroundings of the hideaway. We came via Manohar airport and Postcard Saligao and enjoyed five nights here. The accommodation is beautifully appointed. We had our own lodge with a veranda overlooking the hills. Lots to do here both in the hotel(excellent spa and pool and a fantastic cookery demonstration) and close by. We did a waterfall walk and a bird watching tour with naturalists and a visit to the local spice farm. Loved it.

This hotel is exceptional. We visited as four friends having been to Kerela together 12 years ago. It truly is a hideaway - there is no phone signal here although WiFi is good. Set in lush surroundings we saw an enormous variety of local birds including kingfishers, oriel, hornbills, white cheeked barbel, ashy drongo & purple songbird. Monkeys leapt about outside our room in the trees early one morning and the sunrise is fantastic. We did a few activities including a visit to a local spice farm - very good - a waterfall, and the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary for bird watching before breakfast. The scenery and the nature here is incredible and the place is so peaceful. The spa is wonderful - you can get a range of 30 - 90 minute treatments in cabins looking over the tropical forest, We also had an amazing cookery demonstration run by the hotel chefs which included many fresh local ingredients and which we ate for a delicious lunch, A special mention for Anirban who is an exceptional member of the hospitality team. One of our party was a little unwell and he went out of the way to provide a get well hamper of treats and chocolates as well as checking in on her. All staff were courteous and attentive without being overbearing. Would certainly recommend it here for a relaxing chilled break.

It’s more than a luxury. If you can spend well please come here and pamper yourself in with silence of jungles and luxury of this overwhelming property. Everything is just awesome. Food is tasty, sleep quality at highest level, room hygiene is excellent, amenities are excellent and well kept. Main USP is hospitality. They greet you always with positive approach and a kind smiling face… Spa - must do! Yashika really welcomes you with a sweet smile, Thot and Snehal are at their best in Spa. Rahul has a really good hands of chef.. Deepak is a Resort manager and really doing a great job… but I am sure all other staff whose names I don’t know but they are doing a great job… Pui thank you for taking good care of our kids …

How many words more can I write about the Postcard experience? Because I’m running short of words but my stays are getting longer here! Kudos to the Postcard team for always giving us the best time ever. We step into their property and don’t leave even for a second. This is my second birthday celebration at a Postcard property and let me tell you, it’s going to be impossible to find hospitality and service like this across the country. We don’t even want to try other resorts anymore because this team has set our standards so high that we don’t want to tamper with perfection. They make you feel like you’re the only most important people in the world and always greet you with a smile. I don’t know what more to say. I’m just so full of happiness and love for the team that made my birthday so memorable yet again. The property is beautiful, the food is amazing (although the menu is limited, they do accommodate your needs), the service is incredible and the room is always stocked. They give you little keepsakes and you can honestly get used to the pampering. This property is in a remote area with no cell-coverage. They provide you with WiFi but it’s best to just leave your phone be and enjoy the sounds of nature and take in the beautiful view of the western ghats. It’s therapeutic. Just relax and let go. Enjoy the complimentary jacuzzi service. Maybe pamper yourself with a lovely spa session (I especially enjoyed the body scrub and the foot massage), savour the delicious tea on your amenity bar and relish the book in your balcony. Days go by so fast, and personally, I feel like a different person. I’ve not been this relaxed in a long time. Special thanks to EVERYONE honestly because all of you are super awesome! Seden, the spa manager, for helping me out with treatments, Gaurav and Shruti, for always serving us smiles with our dinners, actually I have nothing but love for everyone here. I’m grateful for everything you guys did for me and I hope to bump into you guys again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Postcard Netravali. We were blessed with the first rains of the year there, which made the stay even more magical. Extremely warm, attentive and kind staff; beautiful, comfortable rooms, and delicious food... not to mention the incredible location - there is so much to explore if you are a nature lover. Couldn't recommend it more highly!

I had an unforgettable experience at this place! The natural surroundings were absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery, serene landscapes, and a peaceful atmosphere that made it the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, always going the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and cared for. And the food—wow! Every meal was a delight, with rich flavors and fresh ingredients that made each dish truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway.
